Hey, sounds like that is a little off from where it should have been(unless your looking at the total amount payed overall, what i would suggest is to get the dealership you purchased from to explain the numbers on the paperwork, it might make it a little easier to make sure you didn't somehow get ripped off, did you purchase alot of added accessories? or aftermarket products? I remember that special edition was 20,600 with mats from scion(automatic) so given just a base model you numbers should look something like this

20,600.00 PRICE
-2,000.00 DOWN
18,600.00 SUBTOTAL
+1,331.17 TAXES
+ 182.05 T&L FEES
-----------
20,113.22 TOTAL FINANCED

of course there are alot of variables like accessories added to the car, warrantys and products like GAP insurance, and of course if you calculate your APR in there it would be 5632.78 (in this example) if you pay the minimum payment everymonth making the total payments 25,746.00 TOTAL PAYED, or 27,746.00 TOTAL PAYED(counting down payment) and that is based on 10.00% APR just thought i would try to shed some light on the situation for you or anyone else who might not have known, if you already knew that then great let me know if you have any questions i always like to try and give a helping hand

yea total amount paid 31,450
APR8.95
FINANCE CHARGE 6,811.99
AMOUNT FINANCED 22,638.89
TOTAL OF PAYMENTS 29,450.88
DOWN PAYMENT 2,000

thats how it is in the paper and its been a lil over a year now since i got the car i doubt the dealership will change anything now lol. the SE comes with some bull____ all i wanted was standard with the mats u said, mesh grill, subwoofer, alcantara seats. on the sticker its total with everything 19,040.00...... i know i got ripped off somehow. if i can change this i would love ur answer on how hehe

wttfffff!!, man you need to show that to a lawyer or something. maybe they added some additional fees out of nowhere anyhow thats waaaaaaay too much for a TC.

hmmmm, if you want pm me and let me know what accessories were on the car, if any, because out of the stuff you named the only thing you should have paid for is the mats($145) also how long you financed the car for and if you purchased any warrantys or anything like that and i can recalculate that for you to make sure the numbers add up, to be honost it doesn't seem that way, seeing as the numbers i showed you were on an automatic tranny and it looks like maybe you bought a stick(correct me if im wrong) hopefully no funny business was involved

well, in 11/04, when my tc left the dealership, it left costing about 25 thousand i believe.

05 manual, brand new, plus...leather seats, foglights, TRD CAI and exhaust, interior illuminations, scion security, lojack, lip spoiler, cf b-pillar appliques, door sill enhancements, and installation costs (note, had no idea trdsparks even existed, so all parts cost dealership MSRP)

Ya'll are on crack.

The car cost the OP $22k. He's looking at the TOTAL PAYMENT amount which is the $22k + the nearly NINE PERCENT interest that's he's paying.

Ya'll fools with ____ty credit need to get edumacated because you are taking it in the ___ every day for 5, 6 and 7 years.

And if you spent $25k on a tC and didn't get a supercharger... then I'm at a loss for words.

Why? You offended because you got ____ty credit? 9% or 12% interest on a CAR is freaking retarded.

i agree with dk, thats pretty rude bro. so some people dont have credit like you do, u dont know what goes on in some of these peoples life, you shouldnt have to belittle them to make yourself feel better i have good credit and i still financed mine at 7 if people dont have the money, at least let them feel like they have some when they roll out with there awesome 15% int. scion

Sometimes it takes a kick in the ___ to realize that bad credit is NOT cool. And it's obvious by the OP's post that he doesn't understand how financing something works. Wait til you buy a house bro', you'll see that $200k house = a LOT more over 30 years.

And so what about that I drive the same car as you when you're just starting out? I could have bought any car that I wanted and I wanted this one.
