Listen... I understand that bad things happen. My first car note was at 18% interest! I was young, dumb and HAD to have a car that day. I took it in the pooper for 2 years until I could get out from under the note. I *was* not proud of the rate, and I understood how it worked (and how that $8k car was costing me a LOT more than $8k).

The point of my posts was to make the people feel bad because they seemed either PROUD of their 12% interest or clueless as to how interest financing works.

The cycle starts early. If you just have to have a new car [note not NEED] and you've got bad credit and/or are rolling negative equity into a new note, then you are a dealer's wet dream. You want to be in control of your life, then you need to throw off the shackles that our system allows you to put on yourself.

Anyway, when you're 30 and you've got a family maybe you'll remember this and hopefully some of it will have sunk in as you realize that you don't owe anything to anyone...

Ya'll fools with ____ty credit need to get edumacated because you are taking it in the butt every day for 5, 6 and 7 years.

And if you spent $25k on a tC and didn't get a supercharger... then I'm at a loss for words.
u should watch what u say...
Why? You offended because you got ____ty credit? 9% or 12% interest on a CAR is freaking retarded.
and there's also no cussing on forums. but O/P: that sounds like a lot for a tC that has only floormats!

Sometimes it takes a kick in the butt to realize that bad credit is NOT cool. And it's obvious by the OP's post that he doesn't understand how financing something works. Wait til you buy a house bro', you'll see that $200k house = a LOT more over 30 years.

And so what about that I drive the same car as you when you're just starting out? I could have bought any car that I wanted and I wanted this one.
I think the morale of this story man is that what you said wasn't needed and might have offended some people, and who are you to decide what someone else needs to be told, or to assume the situation, the way financing works with toyota is first time buyers(people that have never bought a car before) might not have established credit because they have never made a big purchase(i.e car or house), not that its bad, just minimal, please keep the negative comments to yourself, he had a question and got answers, if you are not going to respond to something helpfull/positive to what the thread owner is asking then i believe maybe you should take your "kick in the butt" to someone who might actually be asking for one, its not for you to assume or dictate who needs one.
