Ok the audio shop i deal with for all of my sound stuff has a Idea of selling custom scion subs. No theyre not subs made just for us but what theyre doing is selling subs with scion emblems in the middle instead of a big company logo. The subs are by alumnapro the company has been around for a while dont know if any of yall have heard of them but i use theyre amps and it sound better than any others that i have had. I got some pics and they want me to post them so i can get some feed back from yall see if anyone would be interested. They can do different colors besides these so let me know what yall think.

yeah thats what bothered me about the the red one its looks like the exact same color as the xplods. Ill get the set price soon and as soon as i get a pair of them in my car Ill get the set up tested and let you know what dbs i hit. I currently hit 126 with two 12's and a 400 watt monoblock amp from alumnapro. Im told that im not running my amp at full power but as soon as i get the new subs i will.

209 for one sub. Each sub is hand made in the US. Its one of the highest quality subs out there. Its also a hand spun aluminum cone not plastic like the ones in the xplods. I had some people worry about the red ones looking like the sony ones. These would blow those out of the water. Subs are 400 watts rms, you can get them in dual or single voice coil but both are the same price. We can get them in blue but im not sure on what kind of blue it would be.
Generally single voice coil speakers are more efficient but with less power handling
Dual voice coil speakers...again generally.....can handle more power and offer more wiring options and are less efficient.

I prefer single, but am more into sound quality....meaning I'm not trying to put a ton of power into the sub. If you are just trying to hit the loudest number you can I would definitely go with the dual voice coil and a big amp. Dual voice coil subs can sound good too it's just that most are overbuilt to withstand the punishment from all that power, which is a good thing cause it will be more durable......except if you have a smaller amp then it's hard to have enough power to push the sub.
