hey guys, my friend and i need to get our inspections taken care of..it was due two months ago. does anybody know of a shop in houston that will pass you for 20% tint?

Too bad you're not in San Antonio.

I could bring a 6-pack of budweiser to any shop on the southside and pass almost anything on any car.

Is 20% illegal?

 

i think the legal limit is 25%...my other friend that came and did the tint with us the same day got 20% as well (we did a group buy thing) and when he went to get his inspection the guy told him that he actually had 15% and he also said legal is 20%..i dont know how reliable he is but the tint shop said legal is 25% and on our warranties/receipts it said "for show use only"

 

I can tell you I have never known any inspection shop to test for your window tint, just go to a busy one.

lol werd! just go when they have a few others waitin lol it shouldbt be a problem if the weather isnt too dark.... go on a nice sunny day wit hardly any clouds it would be ok

So what's the update on this. Did u pass the inspection? I wanna get the 20% too. But I wonder if I could find a place to pass me here in Arlington.

 

Move to Oklahoma! We don't have inspections...which is probably a bad thing...way more beaters on the road. More importantly...way more beaters on the road without insurance.
