Hey everyone, I was wondering how I remove the rear hatch, door boared thingy, that thing that is on the hatch that is like gray fabric on it, and it has like those black anchor nails or sumthin on it, I attempted one yesterday with a flathead screwdriver, and a hammer Didnt work, it just cracked that anchor nail and broke . . anywya TELL ME pleasseee!!

P.S. I cleared my signal lights yesterday, I suck at it, lol.. worked good, but I kinda left a little bit of the reflector in it, just a little like dime size in both of em >;[ . . lol

 

A fork

 

I have no clue, but you may be better off posting questions like this in the xB forums.
Not trying to be mean, but you may get more replies elsewhere!!

 

No really a fork just slide the fork between the sheet metal and the fabric getting the teeth of the fork on the grommet and pull straight down. I just used my hand by carefully grabbing and pulling. Check my rear wiper mod in the tech section for more info on this.

 

all u have to do is take a screwdriver and work it out somewhat then reach ur hand in and pull the material down,
i had to sit on back of car pull material and use my feet to push hatch to pull the plastic peices, if i put it back on i will have to buy new plastic cause they will break. just took mine off 2 days ago so i can remove my rear wiper
