I've had the worst luck this year and, to top it off my xb was broken into mon. night. The sorry people took me for everything i had including my work tools. The story goes as so, mon. i finished my finals at St Phillips and went out to celabrate with friends. We went to Hot Shots Billiards to play a little pool and kick back. We were there from about 8:30 till 11 when i went out to my ride to leave i noticed that my speakers were gone from the back. My buddy went around and said that the door lock was gone and so was the hole center part of the dash. So i calle dthe cops who then came ou and did their thing. When the cops were takeing prints i noticed that the cap to my paint gun was on the ground next to the front tire. I then took a full blown inventory of the vehicle to find not just the radio, moulded screen, and subs were gone but, also a bag of tools a case of cd's and my prized paint gun. That's what really ____ed me off. Right now i go to St. Phillips for auto collision and auto refinishing and painting is what i love to do. So now i'm really bummed to find out that it was taken. any way that's my story so if any body runs across a dash for a scion for sale please pm me with any info.

I'm sorry to know of your bad luck. I have a feeling that this must've been done by someone that knows you or someone from your school....just keep your eyes peeled around your surroundings, you never know the stuff might turn up somewhere. Good luck bro.

 

For what its worth I'm sorry... Doesnt fix anything but helps to hear others feel your pain... I got lucky, the other night I was sitting at my friends house and I happend to look out the window out of my paranoia... some asshat was pulling on the handles then went to the back scoping it out... Needless to say he met a nice little suprise but is it just me or scions in general are becoming a target for vandalism?

I know that getting stuff stolen sucks (got my crx stolen) however be thankful that you weren't carjacked and shot. I agree with some of the people on here they probly knew you. You didn't ____ any one off this past week or week before?

 

fo real - that sux! I know that paint gun must have been expensive! plus u use it for school - damn. . . that's a crazy story. Did the car have insurance?

 

Thanx for all the support it's greatly appreciated. My box does have an alarm and it did go off but, when i checked it out there's nothing going on.So anyway when it went off again i thought nothing of it. You know how some people don't care about other peoples stuff well, i thought it was the people next to me leaving. So to make a long story short i feel that in some part the fault is mine for making the assumption. Thanks for the support.

I don't see that they would take the dashboard unless they needed one themselves, or already had a buyer who needs one lined up. Even if they were just trying to get to the head unit they could have left the dash on the back seat or something.

In other words, somewhere out there, there's an xB owner that's a real scumbag.

 

man they jacked u bad.... kinda messed up but u know most thefts that deal wit your own car chances are someone knew what u had in the box.... i hope u had insurance on it from the insurance company? an take pics of everything u had in the box as well as the paintball gun an tools? somthing for everyone to think about.....

im not trying to steal your post but ya.. i had this friend of mine that i knew cuz he did my buddy's celica.. so i thought he was pretty cool since he got parts for pretty cheap cuz he works at a car shop where they sell/install mod parts.. so he told me he could get me parts for my tc (340 for intake/exhaust/piping) so i gave it to him to pick up the parts for me... and now he just picks up the phone and tells me he's gonna meet me somewhere and doesn't show up .. btw i just found out he's done this to a couple of people already

so if any of you guys in socal (chino hills/walnut/duarte/diamond bar area) meet or hear about a guy named "JP from ak1 motorsports" dont listen to anything he says.. and if anybody knows his address or any info about him please PM me

 

doesn't that suck! You think you might know how someone is but, it turns out that it's all just a facade. Who can you trust anymore?

 

ya... it really sucks =[ .. coulda bought me a nice new HU or some xmas presents for myself :\ ... i hope someday he loses something that he really loves and or gets arrested and raped in jail >:]
