Has anyone else noticed any anti-SCION sentiment on the roads? Or...can folks driving along 121 heading to McKinney just not play nice? I am constantly tailgated, passed aggressively, and then forced to test my brakes as that car moves in front of me and decelerates....there are also the ones that won't let me pass at any cost....I don't speed (it's a SCION xB, what's the point?) -- but, if you aren't doing 55 in the 55, I am going to go by....why do they hit the gas as soon as I make that move?

My theory is they are just jealous that every other Honda Civic, Ford Taurus, Astrovan, whatever....those all look just alike....Was it Nuprin? "Little, Yellow, Different"

 

There is nothing that frosts me more than trying to pass someone moving slower and then they speed up. I don't think this is limited to xB's. I try to maintain a steady speed in a middle lane and don't weave in and out of traffic. I just think human nature is envolved here.

 

Some of you need to drive out here in Chicago. Especially on the Kennedy or the Dan Ryan expressways! Lots of accidents cause of a$$holes driving aggresively...

that shyt happen to me while i was on by sherman on 75 goin down south and this stupid truck stepped on the breaks in front of me and then wen i tried to pass he drove in the middle i was ____ed GRRRRRRRR!!!!

 

yeah, thats common bro... i have been driving these roads for many years.. it is getting worse, due to all the newer roads that open up from time to time.. i mean seriously look at ehe Lewisville area where the 121 and GB Tollway hit I-35!!! WTF!! it looks like Houston, and their multi level bypasses!!!! I really hate it too when you are going a regular speed and someone cuts you off, or tailgates you only to jump in front and slow the F down!!! Mother Puss Bucket! I figgin hate that.. My wife (from MS) really had a wake up call, and her mom refuses to drive here, but my wife now has SERIOUS ROAD RAGE(Just screams alot)!! If everybody actually went speed limit here, we would all get were we are going faster, and SAFER!! its always that one, that screws up everything!! 114, Loop 12, 360, I35, 635, I30, I20, 121, Beltline Rd., I75(sherman to 121), 121-had to add that one twice... All a bowl of F'ed up Soup.... thank God for short cuts that are not known to everyone... LAter guys/gals, and good luck out there...

I drive all those roads....just seems like going into Frisco (gasp) and McKinney (the horror!!) are worse than anyplace else around here right now. I told the GF either she needed to move closer to Lewisville, or we had to break up...I can't handle the stress of driving over there!!!

I don't have road rage, I mean...people can drive however they want....but, if you put my woman, or my ride at risk....feel the wrath of by BIG mouth and LARGE lungs screaming "F**kin MOVE!!!" at you.....ooooh....you don't want that!!!

Of course, I think I will just yell Mother Kitty Bucket at them from now on....won't do any more good than the other, but...at least it will make me laugh and I can forget what I was mad about in the first place.

 

Ooh yeah, no ____. I drive that _____ basically every weekend. Bunch of idiots on that road, they really like going 70 in the passing lane....and it's a 70 zone.

 

I live in the panhandle (Amarillo/Canyon) and the traffic is the main reason I'll never move back to the Dallas area or any big metro. One gripe though. People up here NEVER use a turn signal. What's that about???

 

i live in Plano about 5 minutes from 121. People arent just a$$h0l@$, they just plain dont know how to drive. If they arent doing 15 over they are doing 15 under. I think its funny when i pass someone and they turn and make eye contact with me and then speed up.

sorry guys, other than the regular stupid stuff nobody gives me any crap, and I'm on 121 between grapevine an l'ville all the time.

 

I do believe people drive differently around certain cars. My tC, for example, I do have people that get in front of me w/ no blinker and tail-gate me but for the most part I drive in the slow lane most the time and I don't too many people that bother me.

When I drive my boss's F350...people tend to drive a little nicer around me.

back in the day - 75 had SHORT entrance ramps... with these big stoplight things that were car height - and you were supposed to stop ON THE ENTRANCE RAMP(!) until the light went green for you to merge safely into traffic....

I just went to pensacola like a week ago and my rent car was a charger and I was doing about 85-90 wherever I went and the speed limit was like 40 on i-10 (b/c of hurricane damage) . . . those people must have thought I was a total f0king nutso....

hell the toll road (dallas parkway for you non-natives) is the best place to race, that's where I've driven the fastest I've ever driven ever in my life ever ever
(126mph in a 1980 bronco with a 351m, racing a pulsar nx, cuz I know someone will ask)
