Default Keyless Remote for 06 xA

I am new to Scionlife and recently purchased a 06 xA. I want to buy a keyless remote for the locks. Does the vehicle have that capability and will it work?

Any after market keyless entry will work , I installed a keyless entry + alarm kit and it works great .

The Scion xA doesnt come standard with keyless entry just electric locks .

If your have a buddy with a spare keyless entry remote, you could try the rs3200 program guide. It will program the remote to your vehicle. Pretty much all toyota and scion use the same rs3200 module.

question is, I don't remember where I place the pdf for the reprogram.

Isn't Vandergriff Toyota bad about not giving their customer the fob? My friend brought a used 05 camry down there and I know that all Camry in that year is suppose except the Standard Camry (with black side mirror) to have the keyless entry fob. Then they went and bought a Celica down there that didn't include one. Had to program both extra fobs that I had to those cars.

did u mention "used"? 90% of used cars that are sold doesn't come with complete set of keys or fobs. Either the previous owner(s) didn't turn them in at time of purchase. Not like when u buy a "new" or "demo" vehicle u'll get a complete set. When one buys a "used" car the dealership is not obliged to provide a complete set unless the customer & dealer works it into the deal.

Sorry to get off-topic. Just wanted to clarify what was mentioned about my dealership.
