wow... shes tellin me that she bought the comp this weekend, fri night she had issues but it was casue of the McAfee and she uninstalled it and it was working fine on sat, sun, mon, and tues and today its just malfunctioning... everything remains the same as it did yesterday, all the security settings are the same... its being connected with a wireless adapter... my guess is it would be either the adapter or the router
i would say to uninstall the wireless adapter from the
control panel - system - hardware - device manager
and then hitting 'look for changes'
let it reinstall the drivers and reboot.

what about this
Click on the start menu, go to run
-> in the run prompt type: ncpa.cpl
--> right click on you wireless network connection, go to the wireless network tab, removed your network from the list of prefered networks
---> now try to re-connect
if you have windows vista
click on the start menu, go to the control panel, look for an icon called network and sharing center (switch to classic view if you don't see it), then go in the tasks to "manage wireless network connections" and remove your network from the list using the green minus sign button
now try to re-connect

lmao our T2 agent didnt even wanna deal with it, he read through the notes that i had done and he said ok i know what to do, xfer the mbr, so i transferred it and i stayed on the line to see what he was gonna do and all he says is "ma'am im seeing that we've had you go through some extensive troubleshooting here, it appears as if theres not much else to do, i would like to send a technician out for you to repair your issue and bam just like that... pssh if i wouldve known to do that i would've done that a long time ago lol
if i were to fix it, it would have to be in person. i hate doing things over the phone, esp when you're talking to a person who doesnt understand computers or troubleshooting. iv had that issue before but its been awhile since i have fixed that issue.
