Default PLEASE HELP!!! PLEASE HELP!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

A VERY active member of the Scion community is in desperate need of prayers right now.
"Richman", founder of the TeamScionEyed Tomball chapter, desperately needs your help.
For those of you that have not had the pleasure of knowing Rich, he drives an xB RS1 that says "RICHMAN" down the sides.
Rich's 2-yr-old son, Dylan, is in critical condition at Texas Children's Hospital, where he has been for the past 10 days, fighting for his life.
Dylan had to have emergency brain surgery and there is great concern that he may never walk, talk, or even see again.
The doctor bills are piling up very fast and Rich's family desperately needs your help and prayers.
Friends of the family have opened up a donation account at Amegy Bank. I am asking anyone and everyone to help a dedicated Scion owner and family any way they can.
Here is the donation account information:

ACCOUNT # 527 43 949
AMEGY BANK
10101 GROGANS MILL ROAD
THE WOODLANDS, TX. 77380

CONTRIBUTIONS CAN BE MADE AT ANY AMEGY BANK, BY MAIL TO THE ABOVE ADDRESS, OR IF YOU ARE A BANK CUSTOMER, BY GOING ON-LINE TO MAKE A TRANSFER/DEPOSIT FROM YOUR ACCOUNT.

Rich has always been the type of guy who would bend over backwards to help another Scion owner (or anyone, for that matter) in need.
Let's return the favor any way we can!
Above all else, please keep Dylan in your prayers for a healthy recovery.
Thank you!!!

I totally understand. ...any ideas on how to prove that this is a legitimate need and not a scam?
If you know any Scion owners in Houston, specifically TSE members, give them a call. They'll verify it.
Beyond that, I am open to suggestions.

First of all, I don't know Richman but I wish him well and his son. He got my prayers. Just curious... Dylan didn't have health insurance?

Even if he did have health insurance, it doesnt cover everything. Co pays, consults, hospital day stays, neurosurgery is expensive and rightly so some insurances will only cover a certain percentage..20% can add up very quickly..Just my 2 cents..that said......best of luck to the family and to your son. check is in the mail....AJ
