When I first got it and plugged in my Ipod I could play the SONGS in alphabetical order on my radio, now the ARTISTS are in alphabetical order and I have to go by Artist order instead of Song Title order.... how can I change this back to Song Title Order? I have tried everything!

 

I think it might have to do with how you sort your music on iTunes.

 

On my IPOD if I choose artist its in order by artist and if I choose song its in order by song..... Thats the only way I have em on my IPOD.

Just minute ago I plugged it in and it started by Song and then changed by Artist and couldnt get it back... I dunno!

 

push the multi selector up and choose the *iPod name* catagory (it should be what comes up when you push the multi selector up.)

and push the multi selector in and you'll get the lsiting of songs by song title alpha.

but this is only if on your iTunes under the main "Music" catagory it is listed there by song title alpha.

if not then you have to go to iTunes and change it there.
or i think theres a catagory selection from the radio itself for songs by title alpha. im not certain id have to go check but i cant right now.

its all explained in the iPod HU manual you should have gotten.
it should be a separete booklet in its own package with other radio material (or its just the radio book i forget), not inside the regulars owners manual.

for me it was hard to understand without going out to the car and doing what i was reading.

and however you were listening to your iPod before you connected it to the car is how it will play in the car. you can change it from the radio or unplug it and select how you want it on the iPod and plug it back in.

you should have the book somewhere, its its own book cause of the way they have the radios interchangable and upgradable.
if you dont then they forgot to give you one maybe?

not saying bad about your dealer but when i picked up my car the guy made sure i memorized the book was separete and where it was and where the cord was and whatnot about the radio. like he just figured it out himself not to long ago and he was happy to pass this info around.

One other thing, if you don't want them played in alpha order there is also a random order button you can use too.

yea, and i miswrote, it doesn't go to songs by alpha unless thats how you have it in iTunes on any of the catagories.
