However, if you get the right job, you never go to sea. A friend who was a CPO that had been in for 18 years and had never gone to sea.

That's a fact. I EAS on Nov 7 and had a job on Nov 15, 99. I have been there ever since. Making pretty good money too. Now I don't do a thing but tell other people what to do. All because of military training.

I was a "nuke", absolutely no use for that in the real world.

 

Army National Guard, 4 years now. Got two left and I'm running like hell outt the military. Between my veteran's benefits (from going to Iraq in '05) and everything else, I'm set with my school. I can get my Masters if i want to for just about free. Just need to pay for books and lab fees.


At least I wasn't a Chair Force or a Puddle Pirate.
