Default San Antonio - Asking for your support - Please Read

Don't know if anyone saw the news today, but a popular mexican restaurant caught on fire last night (7/11) around 3am, Piedras Negras De Noche @ 1312 S. Laredo. It is right off of 35 between S Alamo and S Laredo just south of downtown San Antonio.

http://www.mysanantonio.com/news/met....461d07da.html

The fire caused about $500,000 worth of damage. The restaurant belongs to my family and they are taking it kinda hard. It has been open for almost 30 years. Everything was pretty much destroyed by the fire and if it wasnt then the water and smoke got it.

We also own the building next door which serves breakfast and lunch and we were fortunate that it did not receive any damage was cleared for us to open it for business.

Basically what im asking is that you stop by and support us by giving us your business.

Right now things are still up in the air but I believe the hours will be from 6am to 10pm.

We plan to rebuild but it will take some time until everything is back to 100%.

Thanks

It ended it being the wiring somewhere in the 1st floor kitchen and quickly moved up the stairway into the 2nd floor kitchen and eventually into the 3rd floor.

I went in to check things out once it was cleared and in many areas of the kitchen and office areas, there was no roof overhead.

i didnt even go onto the 3rd floor because it was the worst hit and i didnt want to make things worse by falling through the floor.

Thanks unholy-knight

thanks dude.

i actually ate there the day before and i was on my way over there when my mom called me to tell me the bad news. i was only a few hundred feet away when she told me. When i pulled into the parking lot, i noticed how bad it actually was.

they closed down 35 for a bit because the fire was so intense that the smoke was really thick.

yea we had fire insurance and since it is being ruled an accident, its going to pay out but everyone knows that insurance doesnt like to pay for everything.

The open restaurant is right next door which should be
1310 S Laredo SA,TX 78204

Thanks everybody. I wasnt expecting this big of a response. It would be sweet if we could set up some type of scion get together. The parking lot is defiantly big enough.

i'll talk to my cuz and see what he says.

Thanks again
