i for one feel that judging was less than acceptable.

this being a scion show, i expected a lot more knowledge from the judges. this is the very exact reason why many scions do not represent in their own scene. i know that many have different opinions and there are more than just one route in modifying your cars but i truly expected some kind of UNBIASED judgement from SCION OWNERS and those who say that they have been in the SCION scene. what's done is done, many of us did not go out there to win... but to get our "works of art" belittled because some are not educated in different styles of builds, LOL.

when fully customized vehicles get less points than a stock car. come on.

i agree wit you as well, most of ''us'' who do hit the majority of scion shows/heatwave/ misc carshows as well as HIN carshows. know whats up wit the rides. we all talk amoung ourselves an im sure most crews do. about how did that ride get placed..... we've all been down that road of mis-judged an looked at cause of what we add'ed/cleanness of the ride/ etc. i usually go to go an rep my team. im not in it for the trophy i go to support my freinds an make new ones. an to say ''we came,we saw, we conquered'' an when we win we take it for the team win. i for one saw 3-4 rides out there wit nothing but JDM which ment straight bBist.... an yes the judging was WACK..... they need to bring in an outside team wit some knowlegde of scions to actually see what has been moddified/switched out/added to the ride. not just particular in paint/wheels/electronics.... like most carshows around houston are known for. an not just one set of judges atleast 3 sets for each class given. so they can all look at the car at the same time..... so u have one looking at paint/rims.... ICE etc... an overall cleanness/fabrication.... of the ride........ i knew in my head already who was going to get somthing or atleast place...... an it sadden me when it wasnt an outsider who was not picked to have the JDM award.... i saw a nice display wit all his JDM mod's listed..... plus bB on the ground. an also ned from dallas had came out wit his RUMION COROLLA. 08 white scion... with nothing but JDM as well. but he didnt stay long. sorry for the rant but it had to be said.
We appreciate the compliments. I for one was uuber dissapointed in judging. I had the silver bB with outsiders. I felt they didn't do a thorough job at all. Obviously they didn't notice the bB gauge cluster, center console, door sills etc and the various vip parts especially the pillar lights. Instead they were too busy noticing joys "broken" wheels. Camber dumbass, maybe he forgot to google vip tuning. And look at hernan, he had his car for 6-7 months and look at all he's done already. Idk I thought the people over all were frienfly. But this is why I never go to scion affiliated shows or don't claim to drive a scion lol. I even blacked out the logo on the cd player. I know joy is parting out, but outsiders stand strong. I will continue to rock my banner. I hope yall do too.

I never thought people would remember us so well. I figured with the numbers that TSE and Scikotics would bring we would be just forgotten.

I am going to rock my Outsiders banner for a few weeks at least...it will match the new wheels! hehe!

Who knows what next year may bring. We could be back with a few new faces and some old faces could be gone.

We will just have to wait and see.

we won't be rolling anywhere out of state anytime soon.
we made up this team between friends as a joke and we came out best rep, done deal.

just feels as though we were ridiculed because we didn't "look" like everyone else. i even saw one judge throw my mods list down and took 20 seconds on my car...

it's just amazing how our hard work seems to not matter to them because we were not frequent in the scion scene. when a stock interior gets the same points as one that has been fully leathered, down to the trunk. when a dirty stock engine bay gets a higher point than one with custom mods... when a judge goes, why are your parts black when your car is white, ITS CARBON FIBER... and ps. junction produce is not a fruit and vegetable delivery place. all in all, no regrets. just expected more.

i loved meeting everyone
and love seeing the many tasteful mods that owners did to make their cars their own.

sidenote: revving indoors is ____ing useless. i did not come to support to sniff those fumes in, nonetheless - there were kids everywhere...

this was a huge put off for me. people with their cars on and revving them INDOORS!!!!

What the hell is up with that ____? So many exhaust fumes that I could hardly stand to be inside. The revving was just ridiculous on the way out. No one cares that you have an intake or exhaust or whatever the hell you have on your car.

If you do that ____ at one of our regular meets...guess what? You get kicked out.

Some folks just need to grow up.
