To answer a few of the questions on the Plus +1 thing.

I spoke with the club and this is what we are doing.

Now, since we are sponsoring this thing, and I know ALOT of people want to come to this event. I also know that the first people that RSVP should be given the right to bring whomever they please, BUT I've done several events in the past, and this is what we are doing, to clear it up.

IF YOU OWN A SCION, TO PROVE OWNERSHIP, WHEN YOU RSVP, I'M ASKING WHAT KIND OF SCION YOU HAVE AND WHAT COLOR. WHEN WE MEET UP BEFORE WE HEAD TO THE CLUB, I'LL CHECK IN ALL THE SCIONS ON THE LIST WITH WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU ARE DRIVING.

TO KEEP THIS SIMPLE, ONLY SCION OWNERS CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE FREE ENTRY AND FREE VALET. SINCE WE ARE PAYING FOR ALL OF THAT, THE 50 FREE SPOTS AND FREE ENTRY APPLY ONLY TO SCION OWNERS.

THE PLUS +1 IDEA CAME UP SO YOU WOULDN'T UPSET YOUR SPOUSE OR SIGNIFICANT OTHER. AS MUCH AS I WOULD LOVE TO PAY FOR EVERYONE TO GET IN, I DO HAVE A BUDGET AND A MAX AMOUNT TO HANDLE.

SO, IF YOU HAVE A SIGNIFICANT OTHER OR G/F OR B/F, WE WILL LET YOU BRING THEM WITH YOU.

IF YOU PACK YOUR SCION WITH ANYONE ELSE, THEY CAN EXPECT TO PAY THE $10 COVER WHEN THEY ARRIVE. OUR DOOR CREW WILL BE VERY STRICT ON THIS TOPIC.

AND PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WE WANT PEOPLE TO COME, BUT WE CAN'T PAY FOR EVERYONE. AND AT $10 AN ENTRY WITH $5 TO PARK, YOU CAN IMAGINE THAT OVER 50 PEOPLE WILL ADD UP QUICKLY.

THIS IS WHY WE WILL MEET UP AHEAD OF TIME AND ENTER IN A COORDINATED EFFORT. MY STAFF AT THE PARKING LOT WILL CHECK YOU IN AND GIVE YOU A TAG FOR YOUR DASHBOARD. THIS WILL TELL THE VALET GUYS THAT YOU ARE WITH US.

I'm pleased to say that my phone has been ringin off the wall the past few days for the pre party.

So, far, this is the count:

People who are getting in free plus the free valet, 39 counted so far.

People that are getting in free (the plus one list), 17 so far.

So, I have 11 spots left on the free valet and 33 spots on the "pay your own valet" list.

More Updates on the event:

The rsvp list must be complete with no more add ons by Monday the 7th. With phone traffic going the way it is and you guys doing such a great job of getting the word out, I think we will hit our 100 rsvp list.

If I do have left over, I will pass them out accordingly. My thing is that I want to have as many people as we can there and if we can use up all of the event money, that would make sense. I mean that's why I spent the money - for you guys - the owners.

Thoughts on the Pre Party Line Up. We have confirmed that we will use the movie theatre's parking lot as long as the following occurs. The City of Irving (cause I used to live there) has a very cool easy going Police Department and for the few minutes that we are all lined up in the parking lot, we shouldn't affect anybody, but...

when you do pull in, please park in a spot and not sideways or crooked or anything. I know everyone will want to jump out of their cars and say what's up to people you haven't seen since the last expo - that's expected, but if you could mind our staff, it will make the pull up a little easier.

Our idea is to get a little sign, like a number on a colored piece of paper that will tell the valet guys that you're already paid for. When you pull in to the movie theater parking lot, my staff will check in your car with the people that are in your car. We will check them off the list, then give your car a numbered piece of paper. That number will go on your dashboard and will tell the guy standing by valet that you're covered.

I NEED A CAMCORDER!! I know that someone has one and we need to borrow it for that night. What I want to do is this: the guy (one of my staff) posted at the door to the club will be set up in such a way that he can video tape EVERY SINGLE SCION PULLING UP WITH EVERYONE GETTING OUT. If you think this is a cool idea, let me know. If not, we can scratch this idea.

After you have been checked in at the parking lot, it doesn't matter to me what order you pull out in. I will lead the first car (Black tC) and will have a walkie talkie in my car. As I pull in, I will lead by example what to do. (I'm sure it's hard to get out of a car and walk into a club - but I just wanted to make sure those of you who NEVER go to clubs knows what to do.)

Please follow the valet guys' lead. The valet entrance will be coned off. If you get disconnected from the rest of the line (which I'm sure you will), don't panic - one of my staff will ride in the last car (if that's cool) and make sure that everyone gets there. Our goal is to make sure everyone has a good time and for us, that will be our fun, taking care of you guys.

When you pull up to Valet, simply tell them ..."I'm with Scion." that's the magic word!!

fyi - these valet guys are the nicest in the world - so expect that - I'm sorry, sometimes getting quick service means that you lose customer service, if you know what I mean.

If you live outside the DFW area and your friends were gonna come anyway, and you have already RSVP'd and could use the extra hook up to get your friends (21+) in, I will give you from 6p - 8p to call in and reserve those spots.

first comments on the super charger.

i installed the supercharger on a stock manual tC that we have here at the Richardson store, so if anybody wants to come on out and (meet me in person), just kidding and drive it, feel free.

I'm eager to see what everyone thinks about it.

1st and 2nd gears are still good. 3rd gear around 55mph - the car takes off. In my opinion, $4,000 might be a little much for this add, but the more I drive it, the more it's growin on me.

I drove a stock tC without the upgrade and was like - this thing is slow. So, I'm eager to hear what everyone thinks about this new TRD upgrade.

And don't get me wrong, a base tC Manual, listing for $16,835 with 160 hp...to be able to buy something under $21,000 with all the features the tC already offers AND 200 hp - come on - what else is there out there?

The TSX - but how much is that?

The new 06 Civic Si - but what's retail on one of those - plus I heard the back seat is pretty cramped.

So, $4,000 might be a little much, but when you put 2 and 2 together (the upgrade with the base car), Scion might really be onto something here.
