Default Strup Muffler on xA

Finally got around to putting on the muffler. Sounds pretty good with the silencer in (haven't removed it yet). You really only notice it when you accelerate, once your just cruisin at a constant speed the sound disapears. I think it sounds pretty similar to the xBs, just a low growl when you accelerate. Overall I'm happy with it (and my parents don't mind it either). Only thing I dont like is that the silencer looks a lil goofy.

Thanks for the comments. I tried it with the silencer out and its a little louder, I like it more with the silencer in. And it does look a lil crooked, but oh well. Makes it look more Strup-like lol

Do you think I could spray-paint the silencer black so its not as noticable?

Absolutely. Just use some engine or charcoal grill paint. Something very heat resistant.
Should work perfect.

I think we got Alex one for $50? I might be wrong about that and Alex should correct me if I am.

Then you have to get installed at a muffler shop because it is just a muffler and not a complete bolt on kit like the ones for the xB.

I got it for $60 and about $10 for shipping if I remember right. The muffler shop I went to charged me $35 to install it. All they did was chop off the stock muffler and stick this one in its place...so I didnt change any of the pipes or anything.
One shop I went to said that it wouldn't be possible to put the stock muffler back on if I wanted to later (don't know why)...so if you dont like it your kinda stuck with it, but I'm really happy with mine so far.

And I'll try that paint on the silencer some time, thanks for the tip!
