I'm planning an event and need your feedback.

I need to hook up with Scion dealers that are/have been involved in the Scion community. We want to put on video gaming tournaments and maybe give away a new Scion that is tricked out.

Are there any dealers you recommend? We neeed them to host local tournaments as part of the whole event. If so, please PM me with the dealer's name and the person I should contact.

Actually... it may be something like Madden. The gaming planners are still working on that. Because we're talking tournament we need to be mindful of time and it needs to have the broadest appeal.

Nothing is set in stone yet though.

So how does the "cook" part come into play? we have been know to cook a few things in our time.

We have hosted the VGL when they were going around with Halo back when Scion first started. We have had fun with this sort of thing in the past. Send over details as you get things ironed out and we might be up for hold a tournament here as well.

VGL... meaning video games live orchestra concerts?! man, that show was awesome!!!

 

The cooking would be part of the event in Phoenix. I like to do events that focus on the owners and less on their cars. We'd still show the cars off, just not as a competition.

We plan to have the video game tournament winner from each participating dealer be flown to Phoenix for the play-off. The champion of the Phoenix tourney would win the Scion.

If someone can let Mike Calvert know about this thread.... we want dealers to be involved that ARE involved more than get some active for this one event.
