Want your windows tinted cheap?
i agree with luke...a picture of tinted windows is amost going to look like a black window and in person might not look all that dark. if you have stock windows with no extra tint....ITS A MUST that you get them tinted and especially for the price you can get them done for thru them. i would suggest getting it done....you will not regret it.
Here we go.
This is Keith's box.... (5% visor)

This is the Roush.... (5% on the rear, 20% on the doors)

It was hard to not get a glare from the setting sun (none came out with my car). But like I said you can't tell anything from the pics except the windows are dark. Just talk to anyone that we have done and see what they have to say.
Thanks Nick!!! Glad to hear you like it!!

PM sent to Donny.
Thanks for the opportunity and the kind words guys.
For anyone wondering, Legal tint in Texas for cars is 25% TOTAL on the sides and anything on the back.
the xB is different and does not fall into the same category as a car. It falls more into the category of a van or minivan and the 25% only applies to the front doors and then anything behind the fronts can be as dark as you want it.
One thing I always tell people tho is that on the xB I really hesitate to put the 5% on top of the factory tint b/c it can be very dangerous to see at night. In my experience putting 20% on top of the already facory tinted glass comes to about the same thing as 5% on clear glass.
For a better look at laws and explanation here is a website put out by the International Window Film Association:

Thanks for the link. I always thought Texas had a limit of 35%. I didn't know you could legally do 25%. Hopefully, when I take my car in to get it tinted (still on order), they will have some examples I can look at. I don't want to have visibility out the windows to be reduced too much, but darker windows do look better from the outside and help keep the car cooler inside.
Ya thats a BIG deal to me... I leave my car in the parking lot at school for 7 hours....come back and its like jumping into a OVEN! I think tint will help some....Actually it is a oven....over 7 hrs in school I left cookies up on the dash on a cookie plate...and it literally baked fully....tasted good and my car smelt like cookies! Sry for off topic just made me think of it

here's a waste of money. Notice how most ask him why.

Pm'd eov32885, Nick, and Turtlexb.
I have had several requests for 5% on the fronts lately, and personally I donj't do it just because I think it is not that safe and it is very illegal. I have done some before but they were show cars, not daily drivers.
As far as the windshield, absolutely nothing besides a visor. That is VERY illegal and rarely does anyone get away with it. I'm not trying to be a party pooper but if I start doing Anything and Everything at some point I feel responsible for what happens afterward. I'm just trying to cover everyone's butt, including mine.
