lol yeah welcome to htown mayne... lol yeah square donuts is out there man but i dont mind the trip it gives more miles on my box an im still under 10k lol belive it or not i just go to work an around here but thats about it.. but im used to the long trips we take out of town or near by citys ... so yeah i dont mind the drive. just tell me when an where... yeah the weekends are what i have too cause i work nights mainly on the weekend. but i can have some time to get out... an dont worry i wear glass's too lol

 

Are lights under your car illegal in TX? I was thinking about doing that. My tC is BCP but I wanted to use blue (fav color) lol

I suppose if they were they would only be if the vehicle is in motion like MD.

 

well if they can see the tubes they can get you.
and if they see you using them while driving, they can get you if they feel like it.

they are considerd a disctraction sooo yea they can pull over if yoru driving with them on if your parked then your fine!

 

tx laws on lighting are retarded but i can deal wit not havin flashing red/blue which is fine also drivin cause i know that would distract me as well.... but if your havin a good time an parked wit your neons going y the hassle? an in south houston its legal to drive around wit your neons on...... when u hit pasadena u gotta turn them off or only on while parked. but once moving they gotta go off.... it all depends on the cop an if he doesnt like it or not... some cops are ok wit it an some look the other way... i know because i have blue led's in my headlight an when i use the turn signal they blink as well... i havnt had any problems wit the cops nor do i abuse the blinkin blue lights i have.. which as well goes wit the orange turn signals i still have runnin.... but soon to be changed out. an on the inside the lights have to be hidden an out of view but i dont know about havin them on while drivin....

 

hopefully they won't be able to see through the tint to see the lights

but in all seriousness those are some crappy laws, I don't think the lights on the inside should be a problem, hell, it makes it easier to drive for me with the lights shining down on the floor. I used to have an 89 535i that had almost no lighting at all on the inside and it seriously sucked, I had no idea where anything was.

 

lol same for the box's we have one freakin dome light that doesnt do us any good... if we drop somthing on the floor we gotta pull over or wait for a red light. to look for it... i like my red lights they help me find small things or my cell when i drop it on the floor lol... an give it a nice accent on the inside. i hardly use my dome light an leave it on the off button. i need more led's tho an might wanna change my stock ones out behind the a/c an those gauges out some time.. but not soon.

 

I'd like to to make all of my lights minus the domes blue, that way I don't have the amber gauges and such clashing with my blue leds, but I'm waiting on it til I have a good amount of time and initiative

 

yeah... we have a guy who loves led's an he redid his gauges an rear hatch lights plus he got the led tails for his xB. which look sweet, an hid's ... it looks nice an there all hyper white which are real good. but i want blue as well lol but will see somthin to disguish it from others.

 

yea.... I'm kinda trying to find some mod that can set my tc apart from the others, but I've got no luck so far. I'll come up with sometihng eventually though! lol I really like the carputer stuff (especially since I work with computers) and I saw a guy who put cathodes in his engine and that looked awesome.

I was thinking about those tailights for the tc that look kind of like the BMW tails, but I can't decide whether I like them or not, sometimes I think they are cool, other times stupid

That's quite a big file to send! I have p/s 7 and CS but I only ever use7 because my CS activation stopped working.

Another thing to do tomorrow, wash the car! It only stays clean for three days because of all this construction down here.

 

ha mine hasnt been cleaned sicne ive put the turbo in lol...thats going on a month its greased and oiled up
