Although it has taken me a while to get around to posting this, I just couldnt stop thinking about it. On the way to work about 2-3 weeks ago, I was driving down I-45S into Houston (as I do everyday- which sucks) when i noticed another RS 1.0 TC coming up beside me. So OK, out of 2500 RS 1.0's in the entire country, i suspect somewhere around 100ish reside in Houston. So out of the hundreds of thousands of cars in houston, and the thousands of cars going into downtown at THAT time on THAT freeway I happen to see one the road ... not unthinkable, but not exaclty statistically likely. In the 9 or so months that I have been driving the car, i think i have only seen about 3-4 RS1.0s previous to that day (and probably at least one of them was a repeat sighting). This girl (driving the RS 1.0) ended up driving almost all the way to work with me, but exited 290N while i continued on 610W. As soon as I got near the 610 - I10 interchange, what do i see??? ANOTHER RS 1.0 TC. Ok, so now im a little shocked, and I'm having trouble getting over the odds of this. I exit as the RS 1.0 continues on the freeway heading towards the Galleria. When I arrive at work I notice there is ANOTHER RS 1.0 TC parked on the top of the two-story parking garage. This TC stayed in the same spot for about a week, absolutely NEVER moving! It just disappeared one evening and has never returned. (someone please explain that one to me)

3 RS 1.0 TC sightings in one morning; I was stunned. Has anyone else had this happen to them???

 

yup i see about 5-6 of them a day i guess alot of them live in my area....where do you live at? im in 45/1960 spring/champions area

 

Spring area a little north of you. Basically Cypresswood Drive and 45. Im probably one of the few you see. Although i dont think ive ever seen a SW with that Kit. Guess ill have to keep my eyes a little more open.

 

thats cool theres about 5 of us or so that get together all the time and chill were probably be going to one of the houston import meets this weekend most lilky the hooters one on saturday at 45/1960 if you want to meet us i live at 1960/ella youll usually see me rollin with a fmtC, pw xB and a tcm xB. but usually with the fm tC.

 

i havnt had a sighting like that but we have 2 new guys with rs1's that come out an hang wit us on this side of town lol.... an they where both stunned to see the one another an didnt know there were any around... but when i hit the freeway i never notice them.... only when im parked an chillin i noticed lol

I am not a statistician -- but I figured that if there are 100 of those out of 500,000 cars in Houston and you saw 5,000 cars a day, you should only being seeing 1 each day -- if they were spread out evenly. So the chances of you seeing 3...

amazing. I don't think I've seen any in Tulsa. You must have a lot around you.

 

lol thats tru when its night an my windows are up i gotta look ahead an not to the side cause my tint is a killer lol... but i usually see about 5 tc's a day an 4 box's as well as 2-3 xA's lol just around here.. but most are older people or high school kids... only a few wanna mod it out or do somthing wit there ride..

 

i saw a red tc last night... oh but that was christina and i see her all the time so i dont know if that counts... does it? lol

 

something tells me, no.. that doesnt count . Well, i havent seen another one in about a week now, so I guess the statistics have begun to even themselves out!

 

Well if you intrsted the scions on the norht sides go to weekly meets and if you ever need anything installed pm me and we can do it for you we have or own mechianc for our crew and we will do it for free usually to oem quality cause he goes to UTI so he's real good. Just let me konw!

werd jon werd...we were at the north side sonic meet for h-i people were doing burn outs brining alcohol acting stupid and it was PACKED!!

 

i hear that... man these SE meets are dying quick an gettin broken up cause more ricers read from the h-i.com forums.... they need to do some type of members only thing for the ones who actually post up or involved wit the import scene..... an have some places blocked so only if your invited or have some type of way showing u are wit h-i.com u get in an hang out type... i was readin that dfwcc link somewhere an it looked like dallas has its import scene on lock... which was cool..
