Default wreck: The box just got hit

coming home from work yesterday.. my wife and I were involved in an accident..

I hate that sound of screeeeching tires and then "BAMM"
Just when things were going right

crushed the bumper and rear quarter on one side..
not sure if any wheel or suspension damage has occured, it seems to drive :OK:, but is out of aliagment ??

good thing was that we are OK, and the guy was very appoligetic.. His insurance is taking care of everything.. hmm. I wonder if I can get a 2-tone paint job out of the deal??

Any reccomendations on some well-reputable shops in the DFW area?

PS. Thanks to David for calling and seeing if we were OK. He saw us on the side of the road. Thanks bro.

Mark, thank god you guys are okay. I guess you can do a 2-tone now and more mods if you get some $$$ left. PM Scott17, he might know of a reputable body shop. *wink*

Good luck.

hey guys .. thanks for the words.. I really appreciate this community.
I found a fiberglass kit and a poly kit.. I'm leaning more towrads the poly kit becuase of durability and less prep work .. Ned, Kristie and I would really like a 2-tone setup.. She wanted the dealership to 2-tone it when we first bought it..
does Scott paint?

hmm.. ideas..

Mark, Scott doesn't paint but he can help you get the box in and outta there happy with the work. I've always love 2-toned paint jobs. Good luck mang!

Ah. I work for the HelpPoint in OKC (Farmers Claims Center). I have more loyalty to a fellow Scion owner than to my B.S. job, but if you take it to one of Farmers' COD shops (preferred body shops), then they will give you a written warantee for the work. So even if the body shop went out of business, and you ever had a problem with the repairs, Farmers would take care of it. Just an idea if you aren't sure were to take it. I know we have quite a few in the DFW area.

Hey Mark glad to hear ya'll are ok! Yeah that tense feeling you get right after you hear the tires screech kinda stays with you. I've done the screeching once or twice
I know a guy who does "that" kind of work, call me...

with the advice taken. Farmers is taking care of the car along with a garuntee/waruntee on the work performed. It was actually less hassle letting them take care of the deal. It will be back to stock color, but I promised Kristie that we'd have angel put a different scheme on it to make up for the 2tone paint talk.
To boot, we will more then likely be selling our 17s
so anyone looking for that flushed look wheels, let me know.

I'll be posting them in the classifieds his weeek, but would really like to hook someone up locally.

Glad to hear it worked out! Gives me a little faith in the company I work for. "We'll get you back where you belong!"
