Default any one running CAI in Maryland?

we have decent rain here but sometimes we still have tropical storm/flood level of rain going on here like last sunday where half of maryland was out of power.

Is any one running CAI here and is it "safe" enough?

Most of our club have CAI's installed, just be mindful of standing water on the road. If your not sure how deep it is, don't go thru it. And for protection from splashes, get a filter cover from injen. Its water resistant.

i had a Tenzo CAI...

the only bad thing was that the CEL would come on depending on how humid/cold it was outside. my filter sat right behind the foglight cover and above the splash gaurd so i never had any problem with rain/water getting ont he filter...

also you could do a short ram intake if you are worried about water getting on the filter

If there's a big area of standing water and no one's driving through it. . .

. . .find another way around.

Other than that, if you kept your fender liner/splash guard you'll be fine.
