Default To bra or not to bra?

My 2011 xb is looking a little plain in the front. Was thinking of getting some paint treatment but noticed how much of a beating it gets from bugs and rocks. Then I saw this

Colgan Customs T Bra

My question. Is the bra too uncool?

Thanks.

After being trashed and bashed by everyone I've spoken to about the subject I've decided to dismiss the bra as a viable option. Instead I am going to have the middle of my bumper, hood, roof and possibly spoiler wrapped in matte black vinyl.

Does anyone know of a good shop around delaware that wont jack my ____e up and that will charge a fair price?

Thanks.

3M makes clear vinyl for rock protection. Most tint places should have it. Agree w/ the no bra, I had one on my polar white gen1 and when I took it off it looked like my hood had a tan line. Hoping some polishing compound and clay bar can clean it up.

I wouldn't go with 3M, they tend to yellow after sometime and their adhesive is crap. There are some other brands that are better I just can't think of them right now. Venture shield was good but 3M bought them I believe and now uses the adhesive that sucks. Look around, a bit pricey bit worth it.

I've been thinking about a cover of some sort too. I want to get some graphics on the hood, but it's getting beat up by rocks. I've heard bad things about all the stick on stuff. Plus wax and dirt cake up around the edge of the film; that's why I pulled it all off my doors...Dunno

I'm having my hood and front bumper wrapped in matte black vinyl. $200+ to save me from more stone chips and also make the car look cooler.

The car is three months old and I have two stone chips in my hood half an inch apart.
