Engine Immobilizer Light Indicator
Just bought my TC and drove it several times today. On the last two drives, the engine immobilizer indicator light continued to blink after I took the key out of the ignition. It is still blinking (5 hours later). Is it a short curcuit? What should I do?
The light is supposed to blink when the key is out of the car because it means the immbolizer is in effect. When you put you key into the ignition, the blinking stops, because the chip in your key is telling the car "this is the proper key for the car, so let the engine start when I turn".
Your system is fine.
