Hey everyone!
I'm wondering if any of you other Marylanders have had custom exhaust work done for your tC (or other Scion,) and could recommend a good place to have it done (preferably somewhere near Carroll county.) I'm planning on eventually installing a header, and rather than drop a ton of dough on a pre-made exhaust that isn't exactly what I want, I'm thinking of going custom-built. I want to have a hi-flow cat as well as a resonator installed, which isn't an option for almost all of the pre-mades out there. I'll probably be using a Magnaflow muffler and resonator- in general, is it usually better to buy those parts yourself and bring them, or get them from the shop?
I also have a quick question about anyone's experiences with having dark tint in MD. Rationally I should go with 35% and be legal, but I think 20% would look a lot better. However, I loathe to waste money and I would be ____ed beyond belief if I got ticketed and had to remove my tint for being too dark. Has anyone here gotten harrased in MD for having too-dark tint?
Thanks for the help
