Default Lowering the xtC!

Hey guys I just got a brand new pair of hotchkis sports springs and I am dying to get them installed but, I have no idea were to get it done at.

Does anyone recommend a garage or knows how to put on springs?

Thanks
FUNberto

it's easy to do yourself. would just recommend having another set of hands. only tool you need beyond a good socket set is a spring compressor which you can borrow from Advance Auto Parts, or probably Auto Zone or Pep Boys.

PTuning FTW

Lorenzo installed mine and said he would never do it again. The rears on the tC are a PITA.

Rears on a tC are pretty easy in my opinion.

I could do it if you want. I have all necessary tools and location. Ive lowered several peoples tCs from scionlife.

Shoot yea, i did my TRD's myself too, i actually used the directions for the Hotchkis springs, lol. i'd say it took me and my buddy about 2 hrs to do it.

the coil overs on my old honda were ALOT harder then these.....prolly cuz that was my first time putting coils on, and that all of the bolts were rusted and seized up, lol

but if you dont have the time, or are not 100% sure of what your doing, then i would take it to someone

the rear hotchkis spring is a pita. the coils are very close together you cannot get a typical spring compressor in there. You will need access to an actual strut compressor to do them easily. The fronts are easy, i did both of them by myself in 1 hour.
