Default MD-New to the boards

Hello Folks new to the board and looking to pick up 04-06 AT(so the wife can drive it if need be) XB

Price range is under 12k and looking for something with under 60k miles

The wife is pregnant so I'm having to sell The STi and pick up something more family friendly with some extra space to spare. So I decided I'd like to go with an XB I like the way it looks, get GREAT gas milage, I'll be able to put the baby in the back seat and if need be our boxer in the trunk area.

So if you know of anyone that is selling or looking to sell one, let me know(I hit the classifieds didn't see much) or where else can I look?

already delt with 19's on my MKIV Supra, and having a wheel bend is no fun

I've found a few xB's for under 10k and that whats I'm looking for, your's is newer and I'm sure you'd want more, just like I'd like more for the STi but I don't see that realisticaly happening.

I'm having the fuel system upgraded at the moment to make the car complete, in the end I'll have spent over $30K in mods alone for this car(not including the price of the car it self). I'd really like to feel & see the full potential of what I paid for before I sell it

if you'd like to give me your xB and what owe on the car then we'll have deal for sure

Good luck.

I get 28 to 30 mpg and I dont even drive very hard.. If I baby every single shift(shift under 2800rpm) and dont go past a slight throttle, I can get 36mpg, but its a pain to drive that way. If you add weight and its auto, your mileage may be even worse. When I pack my music equipment in my car, it sucks gas.

You may want to look at an xB again up close if you haven't already, great for putting a baby seat in but fitting your dog in the trunk may not be fun. The trunk area isnt exactly, "big".

+1 on the trunk not being big, it's useful for carry-on suitcase that stand upright, groceries and a tent but larger bulk items, like a larger cooler or a dog will def require at least one of the seats to be folded down. witht he seats folded down though my xb has swallowed a refrigerator.

as for mileage, i used to see 29-31 until about the 40,000 mile mark, then for some reason it jumped to 32-34mpg. just last night i swapped in iridium plugs gapped to .044 so i'll see if that steals me another mpg or 2. i don't drive my box easy (it sees autocrosses and has seen some time at summit) but i do keep up on maintaince.

hey bud i work at fitzgerald automalls in gaithersburg MD. we have a VERY nice nautical blue xb that is lightly modded with just a carbon lip kit, fogs, grill. it looks amazing and i cant believe im saying that about a XB lol. anyways, here is a link! it is a little more than what you wanted to pay but the mileage is very low
