Default MID ATL NFL Talk

Since there seems to be so much NFL talk in the Mid Atl Local discussion thread, I'm creating a new one here.

Lol, it's all good. But before you talk about winning twice in one season (and once from the previous season), just remember we beat you for what, 14 games straight? Longest stretch in NFL history

We have to let you win occassionally, otherwise, it's not much of a rivalry, its just a constant azsbeating

I agree. I really don't know that there is a clear winner. My suspicion is NYG will take it, but I don't know what makes me think that.

Arizona looks like a credible team this year.
All I know is that my 61" plasma is on the way, and I'm getting NFL sunday ticket!!!

McNair has been traded, providing that he passes a physical. Tenn got a 4th round pick for him, which is more than they deserve since they treated him like crap.

I am very anxious to see what the Cardinals do over the next couple years. If Linehart can come out of school and do half of what Carson Palmer has done in Cinci, he should have them in the playoffs sooner than later. That receiving crew and now James? Sick. However I don't know much about Arizona's Defense or O-line...

I don't know why the Ravens got McNair, Boller is just so good...

My main interest this season are my Dolphins and what Culpepper is going to do in Miami. If the Fins were playing ANYONE other than the Steelers opening weekend I would want him sitting. That knee scares me, I don't care how much recovery time he has. Chambers had 1,000+ yards and 11 touchdowns last season with lousy Frerotte and Rosenfels throwing him the ball... I can't WAIT to see what Chambers will do with a quarterback capable of throwing the deep ball.

As for mid-atlantic football, go Redskins. Thanks for Randle El Pittsburgh. He can probably throw the ball better than Brunell these days.

That sounds like the normal conversation we always have at work with the guy that loves the Dolphins.. they are going to be pretty interesting to watch.
