heres my situation... i got pulled over by an SHA cop for "speeding out of a parking lot" (which in this case i wasnt)... anyway, long story short, he gave me a repair order for my tint (thats taken care of, its off now), and for my "extended exhaust" (draxas exhaust with a hi-flow cat)

tint issue is taken care of

exhaust needs to be... it is the draxas system, it seems to be a legal system in MD because it has a hi-flow cat... but i need a certified MD inspector to sign the repair order.

I have my stock mid pipe.... but not a stock muffler... if anyone in the baltimore or surrounding area has one that i can have or borrow for about 2 days or so to get my care to pass the repair order, i would be very thankful... and take ya out to dinner or something.

I dont have much time... so the sooner the better. If anyone has anyother ideas, or knows a guy who will sigh the paper for me, it would be great as well

 

If you want i can "trade with you" for a day or two like you need. I live in fairfax, VA...just saying..let me know if your up for it.

I cant really trade, i would, but the draxas exhaust system wont bolt up to your midpipe.

I can let ya hold something of mine for that day or two while i get inspected to ensure you will get it back

if thats kool with you, im more then willing to drive to fairfax and pick it up.

if anyone eles can let me use theirs please speak up!

My shop will pass that exhaust but i'm in silver spring. They go by if it has a cat and muffler pass it. Plus we don't have a decibal reader to say if its to loud or not.

but im gion to snowshoe, so u'd probably have to pick it up next week

i got it passed today thank god... and i put my illegal 20% tint right back on as well =]

That sucks bad, sorry I didn't see this a bit back. I had my stock muffler sitting in a buddies garage.

It's things like this that make me glad I have a USAF get out of jail free ID.

I get off for everything it's almlost funny.

I got a "Have a nice day." from a NJ state trooper two Thursdays ago. He was pacing me from the truck side of the NJ turnpike when I hit a wide open spot of traffic on the Car side. I was cruising at 125-130mph, and he said he was trying to pace and keep up for 2-3 miles on the other highway. It took him about 10 minutes to switch highway's and catch up. By then I had no clue why I was getting pulled over. Lucky I have a V1, so he knew he couldn't make up something about tagging me with radar.

I've been trying not to push my luck after that one.

 

yeah... its a pain in the ___... but i got it passed... so ill be good for a little while.... i hope
