Boy am I glad I have cable net service.

Look at that roll, I had an xa and busted both the plastic strips up under the bumper that deflected air from the tire treads.

I'm genuinely curious about how that SRT-8 did. Did whoever drove it drive it hard? Did it ever look like it was going to roll?

You weren't kidding about getting an OC3 for this thread.

yeah, one of the drivers (two drivers doing different heats) drove it hard, it handled pretty well, for a 2.5 ton vehicle, but it could just barely put any power down, but man, it had the sweetest exhaust note of any car there. don't know what its times were, but i'll tell you this, it was faster then that red mazda miata (the old man driving looked like he was taking a cruise in the country. )

yea those tires grip, even with coil-overs I roll. Had fun, 46.9 would have been FTD if I hadn't hit that cone. Ended up 1st for Scions, 3rd over-all.
Funny story, on the way back from the auto-x I ended up going to the emergency room because my hand went numb and I was feeling sick... I had gotten bit by a spider a few days prior, turned out to be a Brown Recluse. Not a pretty wound. My left wrist looks yummy

The xa is a fun car to do that stuff with. I loved the way mines was balance and how I can make the rear spin out and make for a tighter turn. I also busted a grade 8 bolt I was using as a sway link too.

Keep it up, I seldom see an xa at any car shows I attend, even scion ones.

As for me, I needed more room and an automatic. Finally that on going pain in my right knee is gone.

Justin, I love how the hood that you have looks on the xA, I remember reading somewhere that you made it... is there any chance you have another one of those lying around?
