I called Ho Co PD Car Theft Investigations and no reported sightings.
They said 2 to 3 weeks is the average recovery time.
Also the lady I talked to said I could call every day and she would search the database for any updates.

I will post as soon as I hear something.

As far as being fired...
I had a long talk with my boss and everything is cool.

Getting to and from work...
I am leaving Wednesday at midnight by bus on a 15hr ride to Greenville SC to get my 91' F150 and make the 8hr trek home.
And all this will cost me is 1 vacation day and food/gas money.
Some vacation...

^ unfortunately most people just tow cars away. it's easier. I'm looking into lojack for mine. but that doesn't stop people from going after the stereo.

well, we have alarm systems for break-in's and removable face plates and us tc owners get radio covers that will keep people guessing.

Its kinda funny that anyone can come to this site and look at the tech articles and basically learn how easy it is to take apart on of our cars.

I says it funny because something that the members here have created in order to help other facilitate mods could be used to ultimately rip off those mods

Nothing compares to a DEI. I have a Python990 2 way pager with 1 mile range. The Viper version is called Viper 5900. I wouldn't trust anything else because DEI is all I have ever installed and rarely have issues, compared to say Code Alarm. With the 1 mile range it will work inside of buildings and I could start my car from the other side of the building when I worked for Circuit City.

Its a setup, that if the car moves without the RF Key being near it then it will trigger the lojack system which will call your cell phone or send out a text or email. As compared to you finding your car missing, calling the PD who activate the lojack system in your car.
