also a quick heads up to those coming out, for tech inspection be sure to have your cars, including trunks empty. remove any stereo speakerboxes that aren bolts down (i'd remove them for weight anyways) and remove your floormats.

no problem
i'll be sure to bring a fresh new roll of blue painters tape for persons to borrow as well
i've missed doing autocrosses and motorsports stuff since the sti is all but gone. so i really hope this becomes a fairly regular thing tim said that he has 20 or so people confirmed for the event

i left the guys at ptuning a message to see if they could round some cars up i know the time attack tc isn't quite ready yet, but it's close (plus that setup wouldn't be the best on an auto-x course even though it is fairly low lag)

i'm pretty handy behind the wheel (a fair amount of auto-x, rally-x, hillclimb, tracksay, nasa time attack and stage rally experience and work part time as an instructor at summit although that's mainly due to jens scott liking having me around for marketing purposes) and the one time i autocrossed the xb on the crap OEM goodyears i pax'ed 41th out of 130+ drivers
disappointing evo, sti, elise, miata (don't laugh they're great auto-x cars) , mazdaspeed3, corvette, catherham and s2000 drivers by beating them in raw time and pax scores. i out pax'ed gregg olsen, larry olsen and andrew baker as well, all very good autocrossers (greg and larry are nationally competitive) gregg and larry's raw times were quicker then mine though.
i'm not trying to boost just saying that it could be done in a lowly xb haha tC's are GREAT autocross cars though, i haven't seen more then one out there being campaigned nationally but i'm pretty sure i could be competitive at the national level in a tC, having driven a mini and miata the class leaders.

i'm expecting it to be a small tight course as it's a school parking lot. i'm thinking 2nd gear will be a no go. if you've ever run an event at harry grove stadium (frederick) i'm thinking that's likely the size lot we'll have.
not a fed ex sized.
