Ugh. I'm awake already. Gonna go wipe down the car. See everyone in ~3 hrs. Dunno how long I'm surviving the heat though. I might get judged, run the track a handful of times (if I can take a convertible on the track) the head home. This could be worse than college park was.

 

Yeah it is going to be hot as hell today...the forcasted temperature just kept creeping up all week. I'll be bringing my cooler and a bunch of water, but if I get too overheated I may cut out early too.

i had a fun time drag racing my tc for the first time. unfortunately it was a wake-up call that i have much more room for improvement on my launches.

 

i wish i could have made it out there but unfourtunately, my car didnt quite make it!

 

i had a great time too, it was extremely hot but it was worth it and i was quite suprised that i placed 3rd fastest tc

 

finally home after 11pm, such a long ride home but well worth it. Met a lot of new people and had a blast racing even though my cars not race-material haha, Thanks for a great show, and thanks to scion evolution for coming up to me and my bf and letting us hang out with you guys and stay in the shade and park with you guys, we definately had a blast and felt welcomed. Time to get some sleep, we are both exhausted! unfortunately we ddnt take pix too damn hot out today ahhah it has not been that hot in NY alll summer so we were not expecting that rofl

 

don't worry about the racing material, i didn't really do anything to be proud of with my runs, my brother said he shot some videos of my runs, but they were probably on his blackberry, and he says with my exhaust, it just sounds like a really really long fart!

 

I'm sorry I missed it. I was kind of depressed about my turbo manifold cracking and going back to NA. Hopefully next year...

Yeah it was a good time! I bugged out early because of the heat too though and went home and crashed...the heat was pretty brutal. Drag racing for the first time was fun as hell

 

lmao dont worry about it, im just as bad :-P it was a breeze getting home til we hit jersey and of course NY, go figure but i passed out, wake up this morning and its just as hot as it was yesterday in MD lolol i guess i brought the weather home with me

mo with the orange tc with the ptuning kit won 2nd fastest.
Some kid with an automatic trans won fastest tC.

a lot of boosted tC showed up though. It was a blast.

 

I took 3rd non-scion. Two AE86s(?) beat me out. And I'm perfectly ok with that.

 

the AE-86's were nice. I wish they ran their cars tho. same with that red supra that showed up. How is someone gonna bring a supra to a race track and not race it.
