supra didn't wanna get beat by the tercel

from the sounds of it, the guys with the AE86s actually did a swap on a '89 tercel that I know. Except, he's in the process of upgrading now.

I somehow missed the AE86's, but I saw the Supra. He was moving it at one point, I was hoping it would be onto the track but no luck.

I'm still cracking up about the ultra beater white accord with all the bumpers and interior torn off that was racing. It was pretty quick though despite the looks.

I'm looking forwards to the day that my car will be boosted and on the track...probably not next year though.

yeah, my launches were pitiful, i focused so much on reaction time that i constantly just spun 1st gear like a retard.

really not used to holding an rpm and dumping the clutch, also never staged my car before, and figured why risk messing something up doing something i never tried before.

it was fun reeling in the n/a tc's once i got underway though, kinda shows that the supercharger was money well spent.

after 9 runs, i looked at the scanguage, and my iAT and WT were getting high, so i figured the car was starting to get heat soaked, and since i hadn't broken anything yet, i should quit while i was still ahead.

besides, i beat moises with his p-tuning kit twice! so that is a win for me since i have 225 whp, and he has like 277 whp, but he is also on all season tires, while my kdw's aren't really for drag, they are a true summer tire atleast.

I was talking to them for a few and they would not let them run because their cars would not pass tech. At least that is what they told me... I think they were just scared....

no, there may be some truth to that. while most of the tc's past tech easily, it was because...we're so slow. like we don't need a helmet unless we run under a 14 second pass. so the ae86's maybe plenty quick, but maybe to run a 1/4 mile, they need a roll cage, or fire extinguisher or the drivers didn't bring a helmet, or maybe they are just show cars, who knows.

I was ____ed my radials wouldnt go on. Damn BBK. I am confident I could have hit low 13's if I got a nice run in early in the day. My times kept getting worse because of heat and track condition.

i personally don't understand why you have to wear pants when drag racing...i can understand why you should wear closed toe shoes and such, but what difference do pants make? unless they are really short and make your sweaty thighs stick to your leather seats...
