you can make more power by increasing boost, but if the turbo is small but quick spooling, it will always be restrictive at higher rpms because its quick spooling characteristics are a result of the smaller a/r.

it really depends on what you need from your car. drag racing would need more top end power with a larger a/r, while driving on a tight technical course would be better for a low a/r turbo for quick spooling and power delivery, and depending on your driving, daily driving too, since rarely you can just go WOT on public roads.

my bad for this late reply but i just want to say the event was great i had lots of fun, raced like 15 times, keep getting worse that's why i stop. fastest time for me was 15.4 at 85mph with just intake and full exhaust so i was happy. Saw lots of nice tc but i was hopping to see someone get to low 12 at least.

 

yea, i had a blast, after racing and being highly dissapointed with my times, i am now boosting the car, real nice kit , i had to boost right after that, it got me too ____ed.STILL NO PICS??!!, wow, thanks a bunch to the photographers.

 

1) The person with the main camera already said his was broken at the show.

Sorry about the pics.............. Someone picked my camera up off the table droped it and than put it back BROKEN! I took it back to get it fixed and they told me that it will take ONE MONTH to fix, and I dont know how much this will cost me personally! Worst of all my wife is still miffed about the whole thing, and I have not heard the end of it! I would go out and purchace a new one but I dont have a spare $700.............. Sorry about the rant but long story short as soon as I get it back the pics go up!

 

thats not right, at least they should of had the webos to fess up and appologise for dropping your camera and to at least pay for damages since they are responsible... but people do not care no-a-days and its really sad.. hope it gets fixed and we can see the pix! i would of taken but it was wayyyy too hot out for me to walk around lmao

 

low 12's on that hot of a day is asking a lot. On my slips it ranged from 101 to 108 degrees. Also the track was not in that great of condition. Left lane was not too good, Lots of rocks/ debris. Right lane was ok until later in the day. I didnt witness it, but I was told a car was leaking fluid, so I stayed away from that lane.

 

yea most of my track temps were 107, its too hot to expect good times if it was cooler like in the 70s we would of had better times

 

same i think one of mine was 108 or something

TCBABY AND SKEEEET?! you came all the way to MD for a show?! I'm so mad! I live in MD now and was dyin to go to this show but I was on vaca in maine COME TO MORE SHOWS DOWN HERE!!

lmaooo yes we did!! i told rob you live in MD he didnt beleive me! sucks it had to be when you were away we could of met up! lol we went all day saturday, went into annapolis so i could eat at buddy's crabs, then went back to bowie where we stayed at a hotel over there n then the show the next day, definately was a great show!

 

grr so blown my car didnt hold up to make it!
