Default Springs

Hello Forum,

I live in Woodbridge, VA. What should I budget to spend for a 1 to 1.5 inch drop on my tc?

I have a set of trd lowering springs for sale. They only have 20,000 miles on them. Looking to get 125 for them.

so you're down in VA? M&D performance (matt/slowtc's shop) here in dover can prob do your install for a very reasonable price. he may even have a set around. buy all the parts you want, bring them all up and matt can install them.

Don't pay someone to install them. Go to Harbor freight, get the macpherson spring compressors, squeeze the old ones, drop the strut, remove the old ones, then do the reverse with the new ones.

I found out the hard way, when I bought my 2005 xA. I understand the price of all the TRD parts I got, but the labor was ridiculous! I would say withe the exception of the supercharger that you can get for the TC (DAMMIT!), all of the performance mods that TRD puts out at the dealer can be installed yourself.

I can do this all day long on my motorcycle, but have never (EVER) done this to a car. I understand the cost of the springs (and btw I will be doing Megans) but what should I be expecting to pay to have the springs installed. I am also assuming that I will need an alignment after all of this is said and done as well?

If I just go with the Megan springs, will I need any other parts (ie camber kit, etc)? I plan on keeping the 17' stockers for now as well.

I have had the car for only 3 weeks, and have done a Megan strut brace, fog lights, total badge removal, front grill, AEM battery tie down and oil cap, and short antenna. The alpine system goes in sometime in the next 2 weeks, and the short air sometime in the next month or so.

Also taking suggestions on the short air. Seriously looking at the Weapon R system.

Thoughts????

i have trd spring now, It handles great! But I wish it could be lower like Tein's H-Tech instead.
I installed it myself. (my first time changing spring) I was quoted $200 by a small shop. ( i bought Break bar from Sears, and spring compressor from Ebay)
I can ship my spring compressor to your for $20.

$100 for install PM me
I can also install anything else you need.

For intake I would go with the injen. You can have it as a cold air, or short ram, whichever you prefer. The Weapon-R one is nice, but no Cold air option
