Anyone near Frederick MD that has an aftermarket exhaust? I am about to get one but I want to hear how bad they will drone. I drive about 100 miles a day so a drone is a deal breaker. However the CD is allways playing so a subtle drone will not be to bad. I am in Mont. Co all the time so there is OK. Ill come to you if you are close!

do a search on the forums for xB exhaust sounds files, and sure you will find something. also try some websites, some of them have a sound clip/video.

 

I already downloaded all the videos. But setting the camera on the ground 10 feet behind the xB, then reving the engine, tells me nothing about what it sounds like inside at 70 MPH. So I am asking for a few minutes of someones time to see what it really is like.

 

I'm over in rockville. Right off 270. I have a strup not a big deal but I also have a few things like I dynomatted the truk and the hatch. It does drone but the sub usually takes care of the drone also at certain speeds its not as bad. With the A/C on and a load it sounds a bit louder. I can meet up with you and we can take a drive if you'd like just let me know.
