Lynchburg, Va (central Va). However, I want to avoid the "local" Scion dealer for upgrades!

I don't know if this will help any. . . If you can't find someone on SL who can take care of you then I would suggest your regular mechanic. I work at a shop and the mechanics helped me do the suspension on my xB. If the xA is set up like the xB, I don't think you'll have a hard time finding someone to do it. I think all in all, it took myself and one other mechanic under an hour to, change out the springs, struts and shocks, rear sway bar, and an oil change. As far as I can tell with the xB I didn't need to do a alignment, then again I used the TRD shocks struts and springs. I figure labor time should run anywhere from about $65-140, depends where you go, and who you talk to. Check around, and god luck.
