Per request of a few people. I figure we needed an update of the group.

Currently there are 10 xB, 7 tC and 1 xA, with a hope of more people joining every month. Currently a new FM tC will be joining as well as another xA. I know the Corps is mostly male, but a few females have shown some interest in the group.

I have been in contact with one of the main guys at Oxmoor Toyota about the Corps. Apparently we missed a few local events. They had an event at 4th Street Live and KY Kingdom. They plan to do the same events in 2006. We have made plans to have space for the Corps to come and showcase their vehicles to the public and bring in more sales for Scion Dealerships and more members for the Corps. They are also reviewing a plan for an owner appreciation day/BBQ.

More Scion Exposed events are planned for next year. HIN spots are available when we reserve in advance. Any others shows are a possibility. Please give enough advance notice so people can request off.

I hope this can be made into a bigger and tighter group.

i think this is a step in the right direction...so we need to go with this...i dont mind representing 2 groups...but im not going to represent something im not proud to say im in. But if this is going to work its going to take communication, and determination...its also going to take hard work...and flexibility....if no ones happy then no one is going to take part in something...it cannot be a dictatorship...Nico founded the Corps, but shouldnt be Dictator of it...we need input from everyone. Being a part of Scikotics is not going to be a forced upon decision...its merely an option...and option that some of us have taken...we can still be part of the local group...but we also are going to represent the national crew, because we see what it can do for us...it will boost up our street creditbility. If you choose to be a part of it then so be it if not...its nothing against you...but we who choose to be apart of it should be given the same respect. Just because we want to go national doesnt mean its bad...just a progression. So in my opinion...we should not have a leader...we all represent just the same as anyone else...its just that Nico founded the group. So everyone needs to be flexible...this is a chance to start anew...so on Sunday we will all meet up and discuss...discuss everything, new sticker, new look, new members...all of it, so that we can progress into the future.

I just think we need to communicate. Its been a problem lately and everyone is getting their panties in a wad over nothing. We will talk and then go from there. No further discussion on the net.

 

Well just to drop my two cents in..............I have not been upkept by either so I dont think either "group" is good on communication. Yes im gone but not dead. I have left my email on several posts' and have yet to be updated, contacted, or informed in any way. So if you want to build your team and keep it big and growing I suggest you take care of your "current" members. But hey im just a lil guy.

Also you should go and find a real club and sit in on a meeting or two to see how a car club should really be ran. I have been in one as well as ran one. So get up on your game before you go reppin anyone and fall flat on your face
