I don't think they are. I know the dorky washer lights aren't illegal. Are you in the boro?

My bro knew a guy with blue lights who got pulled over and given a ticket. I think blue and or red and or white...lest ye be mistaken for a cop. yeah right...like a cop would be caught dead in an xB!

um...I love cops, by the way...um some of my best friends are..*backing up and walking out real slow*

Yeah I am in "the boro" . I think I have seen one other xB here...before I got mine.

Are you in dah hood too?

That's where I'm at. My b/f and I, you need to come out with us sometime. One of our friends has the RS2 xB.

I was pulled over a few months ago for having green neons under my car. The cop told me it was illegal to have anything but factory colored lights on street cars. I got a ticket and a court date. I still don't think I'm gonna take them off. I love them too much!!!

I think it is just red and blue ones that are illegal in tn bc they could be mistaken for the police.

You may be right. I was havin a blonde moment. Oops. I was pulled over in Dalton, GA but I work in Chattanooga TN(hence my confusion). It may not be illegal there, but apparently GA is pickier? They got me in GA few years ago for having a green neon license plate on a honda accord. Maybe I'm a police magnet

If some of you are driving around with your underbody lights on then you deserve a ticket!
In almost every state, they're illegal especially when driving around, NOT illegal if you are "chillin", like at a stand still...
We here in Chicago know better than to drive with the underbody lights on...

I don't know about the underglows, but washer lights are not illegal as long as they aren't the blue or white combo. Look in the GA handbook, my b/f has been to court plenty of times long ago for these tickets and showed the judge what it says in the book and got away without paying. Just research is all I can say.

METRO273- I was on the highway and really didn't even think about the neons being on. You are right, it's not a good idea to leave the on while cruising around town. I guarantee that it won't happen again. I'll keep my neons to myself!

FYI.....The Tennessee Motor Vehicle Law states:

1) Blue lights, Red lights, and White lights .....IN COMBINATION together are illegal.

2) FLASHING Blue lights are illegal

3) FLASHING Red lights are illegal

4) FLASHING White lights are illegal

NOT ILLEGAL

1) Neon lights of any color that are NOT performing as described above. If they are just stationary lights, then they are NOT illegal.

How do I know this stuff, I've been to court 3 times, fought it 3 times, and Won 3 times. But then I realized they were RICEY anyway, and took them off. I just had the washer lights on my old Corolla, never had the underglows. But on an xB, I probably would rock some underglows. The xB is suited for such.
