Do the words Ghost Town mean anything to you? It's dead right now and doesn't show any signs of life coming back. Bike Week is coming up next week so there should be people showing up this weekend for that. I actually saw quite a few bikes last night when I went down there. So it might be looking up.

I know I'm going to be out til probably 2a.m.+. lol I'm sure there are a few people that are coming that are going to need and Adult Beverage after dark. lol

LOL@ this. I was in MB this weekend but was without my scion so I didn't show. I am glad I didn't plan a trip for this.

 

:D Ah well. I figured, last trip to MB...gunna go find where teh shi....er...stuff is at. Picked a direction and drove lol. Found the infamous strip though. Over by Ocean Blvd or whatever? The boardwalk?

 

Yeah really. I was there @ 12 and no one was there and then I came back at like 12:45 and not a Scion in sight. Tried to call Joel and he didn't even bother answering.........

No one called me at all. I see how it is.....no love.......lol

 

I was sooo there from 12 to 12:30 in the parking lot so there :p

Even took pictures of the xB next to that platform of four racecars. Came out blurry though....me and my unsteady hands and all. :p

 

You must have had some sort of cloaking device thing going on then. lol I didn't see anyone out there. You should have called me I was bored as hell! lol

 

This is the exact reason why there will never be any big meets. People wasted alot of time, money and gas to drive to a meet, that the only local that showed up doesn't even own a scion. I know $hit, but its still just sad.

The more this happens, the less likely people are willing to go at all. How could you ever expect people to travel 2 or 3 hours if there is a serous risk of no one being there?

So in closing QC meets are First Sunday of every month…..rain, shine or snow…. We will be there, drinking stupid coffee and ____ing off our wives because we are wasting another Sunday with the stupid cars, instead of mowing the grass. I’ll see everyone Nov. 5th.
