Hey is anyone going to the show in Sumter this Saturday? I know for a fact I'm going. Just wondering.

Yeah, details. Oh wait! Octoberfest or whatever it is...I knew there was something going on this weekend.

 

Yeah ____ happens!!! Like some flat tires....to those who took the time to come to the beach for the meet......all I can say is SORRY! Yeah spider your right until more interest is shown by all then nada will happen.....But you are right there is a difference between a local meet and something that is rewarding.......so I spent most of my SAT trying to get my box fixed since I WORK 6 days a week.....Trust me I would have loved to have been hanging out!!!!!

 

So you don't bother telling anyone earlier or answering the phone when they call? I mean for real. I called you and you called me back MONDAY! I mean you did have 2 flats so I can see how that would effect your phone.........

On another note, Yeah the show in Sumter is Octoberfest. They do it every year and it's usually a pretty decent show. Not sure how far it is from you Spider. (yeah I'm too lazy to look at a map) If you're already set up for a show then it's cool. I know there are alot of people from the beach going though. I know everyone with a car that's a part of Unreal Creations is going to be there. Hell I'm gonna have my junk out there. lol I wish I could give you more details right now. I have to talk to some people tomorrow to get all that.

we have a group from the QC that always shows..except when my car is apart LOL

this is why I posted at one point I had no interest in this meet....cause it wound up as I expected....I only will commit to the Qc meets

Well I think I told the only person that responded to this whole thread about coming.........had no clue you even were interested in this...........no need to blast me for things that cannot be controlled. Josh, how many times has this ever happend anyway??? And yes Charlotte folks I know your postion on meets that are outside of your area! It would be great to have a DEALERSHIP that would let us do things at it every month like you guys do there........that is the way it happens right? That within itself would help morale.......But it ain't gonna happen here!!!!!

 

We ditched the dealership along time ago........although we may be going back soon since we have an inside man now......

I know NRG is the only club that still claims to exsist here, but I am not sure why. I am not sure I know anyone that still claims they are a member of NRG.

 

actually sometimes we just meet at starbucks or another place and eat and hang out....we just for the most part commit to each other to show up

 

Well thats cool I tried and nobody showed and some ____ happend to me and I get bombed by everybody......We have had plenty of successful meets, this one just went south.....nobody really showed interest plus the weather......I gave it shot and thats all one can do......!!!!!

Yea I understand, I feel the same frustration as you.............I started that thread in hopes that something BIG would evolve!!!!!!

 

Man please. I was like the 3rd person to post in this thread. How many Myrtle Beach meets have I ever missed? None. You show up last to every meet and always have some excuse as to why. Don't try to put this off on the dealership either. The reason I haven't really gotten Sparks involved with any of these meets is because NO ONE shows up 90% of the time. I mean be serious when the person that is "controlling" the meet doesn't even bother to show up or even call the people that may be coming that's pretty lame.

You need not attack me online.......it didnt happen this time cause no one showed interest........It makes no difference what time I showed in the past or the future the meets happened and were successful...or if I took your call or anyone elses......I am placing no blame on the dealership.....I just made a point....meets have happened without the help of it........They in Charlotte used to do it that way......I AM NOT THE PROMOTER OF ANY SCION EVENTS.....BUT TAKE THIS FOR WHAT ITS WORTH.......IF ANYONE READING THIS WANTS TO COME TO ANYTHING POSTED FOR MYRTLE BEACH THEY WILL HAVE AN ALTERNATE CONTACT TO KNOW WHATS UP...........IF ANYONE ELSE WANTS TO STEP UP AND TAKE OVER TO TRY AND GET THIS GOING, PLEASE HELP YOURSELF!!!!!
