Default Question about Wheels

I found some 17's from an 06 tC that I can buy with tires at a really good price but I wanted to make sure that there would be no modifications needed to the xB prior to mounting them.

They are Scion factory wheels so the bolt pattern isn't an issue. What I'm concerned with will be the clearence. I posted this in the maintenance forum but haven't really gotten any results and I know some of you guys have 17's.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Well, the tC runs a 5x100 patern, and the xB is a 4x100, so unless you want to invest in some sort of adapter, I don't think they will work, regardless of the clearance.

It doesn't matter that they are Scion factory. The bolt pattern is a major issue. The xB is 4x100, and the tC is 5x100. As stated above you could invest on an adapter, and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have a problem. It would basically be the same as putting spacers in, it would make the rim flusher to the body, and not so tucked.

C'mon guys be nice. Why you want to scare her off? Sorry dear, they won't fit but it was a nice idea. I'd have them too if they fit. tC's got hella nice wheels from the factory for sure.

:p to all you guys lol. I didn't figure on the two having different lug patterns afterall. To be honest, I haven't examined my wheels yet since I haven't had to pull them .

Let me rephrase the inquary a bit. Could they work with the adapters? Without looking moronic on the box. I don't really mind passing them up, wheels can wait. Just more or less as a curiosity right now.

I haven't been able to find any that are in production. You could have them custom made but that would negate the savings on the wheels. The adapters could end up costing more than the wheels.

Buy them, and try to resell them for a small profit, or pass the deal along here..
