There's a Motel 6 in Stockbrige, GA that has rooms for like $37 a night. I found it on orbitz. It's like 15 min or so from the track. We stayed there last year and I found a reall easy way to get to Tara Blvd.

 

Damnnnn, you just had to one up me didn't you Josh. Thats a killer price, I thought I did good with $50..since all the other ones I looked at were $70 and up.. Nice find thou, bet they wont stay there for long.

I just want close enough to the show that I don't have to get up at the butt crack of dawn just to drive an hr...lol

Last year they didn't raise the price of rooms even to the people who just walked in. They were really cool and no one complained about all of us hanging out in the parking lot all night either. OH and there's a Golden Corral in walking distance from the place so that was a huge + for me. lol Just so you know "walking distance is less that a 1/8 mile for me. lol

The gates open for the people showing at 8am and we get up at 7am and still make it there by 8 easy.

I ended up getting my room at Motel 6 for $34 , I guess because it was just me. But $6 less for the 2 days is $6 more I can spend on the trip. Good idea on letting Travis pay, maybe he will pay for mine too.

 

I'll ask him...lol He got paid today! lol

 

I wanted to go this year but can't get off work. Plus I refuse to deal wiht the stupid cops again. THey have hasseled me every year i have been down there and I got a ticket leaving the show last year. So I might return next year.
