We are booming over here towards the Hickory and upper blue ridge of north carolina. 2 others and I built a Scion Only car club and thats coming off the ground pretty quick im in the process of building a fullout website but the temporary one is www.shockerscions.com When i first got my tC there was too many custon Scions. And now on a daily basis me or one of the other two founders of Shocker Scions gets stopped by a scion saying wow i didnt realize i could do that. We are now 10 members strong and growing on a daily basis. Have been working with some import suppliers and Toyota Dealerships to put together a full blown Scion Car Show with trophies and such so look for that come spring.

And ive been to the gathering in Concord once of month and very nice people but if you want my opinion doing a Scion meet once a month all year round kinda kills it... you lose interest and you see the same things over and over and over. Face it we dont all mod our vehicles once a month. Ive souly put together 2 meets in the past 3 months and both have had 11 or more cars. It takes alot of publicity and not just website stuff... Ive hit every fourm that offers a Southeast section with meet details and trying to hype everyone up. Also you have to do store front window advertisment cause face it not everyone knows about scionlife, clubsciontc, mybox.com, importsnc or any of the other websites out there. My hardest thing is getting dealership participation just because they think its a waste of time or what not but after proving i can provide at least 11 cars to every meet and that the Custom Scion Community is growing more and more by the day i think i might have something big in store come spring time of the year.

Actually, at the next intersection (this is Hwy 70 in clayton.. where the airplane crashed into a restaurant last month) theres a CVS, and a Bojangles, and an eckerd...

Thing about NC. Lots of little shops... NO GOOD RESTAURANTS!!!!!!! Sure there's Mickey D's, but wheres Olive Garden, Red Lobster, heck even a WAWA or 711 would be nice....

.. For all u NJ guys..... Hear this:

You dont know the value what you have until you lose it... AND I REALLY MISS HOAGIES AND FRENCH VANILLA COFFEES FROM WAWA!!!!!!

I just don't like the Idea of having to travel 25 mins to Raleigh to get a nice night out....

Back in Lakewood I was 15 mins MAX to brick, freehold, Toms river..... We had nice stuff over there.. not to mention Great Adventure.

Heck... Finnigans was awesome on saturday nights!!!!! Anyone up for cosmic bowling!!??

I know I suck at keeping up on the boards but I'm down for meets or whatever. There are only like 2 people here in MB that have Scions and are willing to go to meets. I have 1 friend with a tC and he works all the damn time. Like Paul said all the tC owners here are @$$holes.

All I do is silently judge them as I walk by. I can't stand seeing all those "gotti" kid's with their yankees hat's and big sunglasses driving a Scion, it usually put's a damper on my driving experience.

HEY... I wear big sungalsses! I think it just depends on your own style.

Like me: I like to pop my collar and match from head to toe...but it aint Rapper style! I use my own way of wearing things... not poser.. original.
