There are 4 great clubs in the Carolinas that get along great...
Shocker Scions
Scion Customs
Scikotics at the Beach

Lol noone hates on you because you have a nice ride, infact I know several ppl who envy that ride of yours, and after all it is a bad ___ ride, as for your Calling Kennedy comment, that was brant smartass , and just to clearify that, he has yet to provide a reciept for that donation, as well as yet to provide a reciept for the money order that he says he purchased, but thats in the past, lol . Its all good man, and to use an overused cliche' "Cant we all just get along" lmfao as for the list of clubs that get along great, we should make it to where every club gets along great, even if we dont like someone in it, or have problems with someone in it, we dont have to like everyone to get along with the group. I mean look at me, I left both Scikotics and Scion Evolution, and now that I think about it, the main reason I left is all in the same, lol , and I have no problem with most of the members, there are a few that I dont care to be affiliated with but that doesnt mean I wouldnt talk to the others who are. It just means that when that yellow vomit mobile shows up I walk the other way lol.

When it is all said and done, we all share that same passion, some just are able to do more with it .

Bowen man you are cool bro, a little cocky but cool, dont think Im taking offense to anything, everyone is entitled to their opinions. Im just glad that we have so many options out there as far as clubs, and custom work, and so many cool ppl out there to share ideas with

I'll be honest with all you guys. The fact that there is somehow club drama in the mid south baffles me. I havn't seen any of these clubs at the shows we attend, except for WCT.

If all these clubs are showing it must be at the volunteer fire dept shows, most big shows are lucky to pull 3 scions total. I see Scinergy GA more then any club based in NC or SC. I mean this weekend at SouthEast there were 4 scions showing and 3 where from Scinergy GA.

I spent the last 2 years showing a Scion, with 2 other scions that showed on any regular basis. Now they don't even show anymore either.

I don't know what shows you been to latley...but the Atlanta shows on Patty's Day was pretty big, the greenville show had an OK turnout.......and how can you not see the Shocker boys at any shows...they have damn near 1 person at every show anywhere near the carolinas......hopefullt well see ya at sopme of the ones we hit!!! and Shannon do me a favor....quit cryin it's getting pathetic....and bowen....go key your own car...so people will not like it anymore....if these things are done...then this thread will be about nothing...problem solved.........now that'll be $3.62 have a great day!!

Skipped Leadsled nationals and Mini truck nationals last weekend for SouthEast Showdown. Which only pulled about 400 registered cars. I did miss Freedom show due to family vacationing.

I don't claim to have been to every show ever created. But, I do attend alot of shows, there are a few people here who can testify to that. I attended in the neighborhood of 60 shows last year, in fact I attended 4 in 1 day promoting my show. This summer I have slacked off a bit, since I am building a new show truck, but I've still been to a couple dozen. I rarely if ever see any scion clubs in NC/SC. If they are club affiliated I never see stickers or banners. Only cars I saw last year were attached to Triad in Gastoina and Scinergy GA.

I just find it amazing, as much time as I spend showing and going to shows, that I never see any of these clubs. Some of them are couple years old, and I've never seen anyone repping them anywhere.

I am sure all these clubs exist. I am just saying I never see them. Maybe we attend different shows. I avoid local shows like the plague so it is possible (I've had my fill of hotdogs, stereo shop parking lots and 57 Chevy's). I just say its time to bring all these clubs to the big shows. Big Show, Freak Show, HIN, SouthEast, Elite Nationals. If these clubs showed like they did at WCT, they'd be doing good.

Not from the Carolinas but since you dragged Scikotics into it, let me just say that regardless of what club you're with, there's bound to be an a-hole in it somewhere along the line. Please don't hate the entire club because of your bad experience. If your MFIC sucked or you didn't get along with someone in the club, you can always take it up to the regional or even the man himself (used to be John, now Rob). Personally, I joined because there was not, and still is not another Scion club within 2 hours of where I'm at, and I stayed because I like hanging out with the people in it. We've had members leave Scikotics for SE and vice versa, just gotta get in where you fit in.

I'm not in Bowen's club but I can say that he's been nothing but cool to me both online and in person when we've been at the same shows - asked him about his car or just BSing and he's a straight up guy. I've never felt it was a THEM vs. US at shows - it's always about Scion. We cheer for his club when they win and vice versa. GO BCP!
Alan is also a good guy as is his wife. He's done a lot in his area to grow SE and has a good group of guys.
I left SE for my own reasons and my Chapter Liason knows why and it wasn't because of the people - that was actually one of the main reasons my decision was so hard. The group was small yes but the members they have are all stand up people who love their cars and support Scion.
Cancel MB Bowen and come party in Greenville with Scion Customs

Hope to see you ALL at the shows!!

Wow, this thread is typical of what I’ve come to expect from this site… however, I'm just going to chime in here, hopefully not beating a dead horse, but I just was PM'ing the head of the SC SE Chapter... happened to glance over their forums and noticed that they were a little offended by this thread and I can see why now. So I’m going to chime in…

First off, I'll introduce myself, I'm Stu Gotti - HMFIC of the Maryland Scikotics, Brian [vettereddie] is my VMFIC in Southern Maryland. I have been Scion Evolution, I've been solo, I'm now Scikotics and I love where I am and where I have come from; it's shaped me into the "leader" that I am for this wonderful Scion community.

I do not hate on clubs, but I do hate on how club affiliation has destroyed the "one love" we used to share in certain areas for our vehicles. If you’re a leader, a spokes person and or a follower of any club in this community, your number one focus aside from being part of the club you draw alliance with and yourself is keeping this community fun and different from communities of the past.

I do not know these newer clubs that have been mentioned, nor do I know many of you from down there and your surroundings to really draw or make any conclusions about the way things are done, however, I can see that the disconnect between these clubs have made it hard on each and every one of your clubs for the simple fact that your repelling the entire philosophy behind this community.

Coexistence is possible no matter where you’re from or the club you’re in, you should think about hosting a multi-club meet at a centralized location, squashing the hostilities and just working together to build a strong Scion community in and around where your clubs operate. There shouldn’t be any type of conflict between folks because they draw their allegiance to a rival club, diversity is what makes everything fun, so just except how things are and work together at shows and in the community.

For you leadership, remember that Scion representatives, especially those that could really make the difference in your club getting outside support from Scion, watch the various forums and obviously take away from the forums their opinions of each club and it’s members… chew on that…

Hopefully I’ll pass some of you guys on my way down to Myrtle Beach this weekend, if you see a BSP tC with blacked out headlights and Maryland tags, wave!

Ciao!

I just want to clear something up...

What started as me saying yet another Scion Evo chapter closing has turned into a whole im a cocky @$$hole who hates the Military..?

Lets set something straight... I am a strong supporter of the military and I support everyone in the military. My Father, Grandfather"s" and several family members have served in the Military. My Grandfather lost his leg serving and later died due to his injuries. So next time you give me this whole speech of Bowen hates on us cause we are in the Military and dont have time to work on our cars think twice.

Secondly... on the not going to big shows thing... Shocker has had a car or even 20 at
DropJaw WCT
DropJaw Spring Slamboree
Battle at the Beach
All Scion
Scion Unity
The Big Show
Rolling Riders Riders Slam Jam
G&H Summer Slam
DropJaw Freedom Showoff
Southern LeadSled
...Just to name a few "big shows"

also we plan on attending... Off The Lines Big Show, Sc8pfest, FreakShow just to name a couple....

And next time you go to a car show in the carolinas and there is a split up Scion Class just give us or Scion Customs a call and say thanks... Because between us we have begged and pleaded with Show Circuits to split up the Scion Class...

Some think we are nothing but cocky @holes that hate the Military but then the people that actually come talk to us then they will say we are very cool group of people.

Everyone got the myspace and the email so feel free to contact me and ill talk to you about anything...

I am personally a US Army Combat Veteran of the 11th Engineer Battalion out of Ft. Stewart, GA; there is no reason to utilize your personal commitment to this country’s armed forces to make a point in a car club discussion. To me, that is just a poor approach and choice in defense to your case in this manner. So I ask you, and others in this thread, do not utilize those approaches on a public forum, that simply creates a political and unneeded situation that I personally frown upon seeing as how I’ve proudly served two conflicts for the country. Thank you, sir.
