anyone have any advice on getting sponsored? either locally or by performance products comapanies?

I have a RS 2 and would like to try for some sponsorships before i start spending all my money on parts and accessories.

 

It works in the opposite way.... most, if not all companies want to sponsor a car that has already been invested in signifigantly and that has a portfolio of wins, or strong reputation within the community...

#1 Suggestion - Modify away, go to lots of shows, and participate in any way you can with the Scion/Tuner community... Honestly, it takes a reasonable amount of time and money invested to gain the respect and attention of potential sponsors.
