Default tC laziness

Well, I thought I would post about my car laziness. I have had my car since July 28 and:
Not tinted the windows yet
Not gotten my sirius upgrade yet (still using the portable)
Not ordered my pedals
Not ordered my Spoiler...

I need to get on it.

actually whyte_azn isn't too far off, if you don't do all that stuff you're about 1/3 to 1/2 way to getting a boost kit.
Of course there's a lot to be said for appearance mods. Window tint= low cost, big appearance benefit.

Hi whyte_AZN,
How's everything in N. Carolina? I used to live in Cary, just off Kildaire Farm Rd. What a pretty little town. I got chased out by a small nuisance (Hurricane Fran) about ten years ago.

aww man that's sad to hear. It's really nice here, weather is great. It's really growing, lots of building and road changes going on. You should move back. I love it. Kildaire Farm huh, I was just down there 30 mins ago.

you're kind of young, do you remember a pizza restaurant out in Cary called PieWorks? They did gourmet pizza and I used to love that place. I think it closed down years and years ago. All this time later and I still think about how good that food was.

--not saying that you're young in a negative way, only that it might be a little before your time.

no i dont know of a place like that. I love pizza, i would have found it, but I think they did close it down. that's fine with me if you call me young, I'd like to stay young forever. Plus I've only been up here for a little over a year so I wouldnt know if it closed years ago. I am sure your still young to.

don't think that jus because you drive a "performance" type vehicle that you should ahve to do anything to it... its your car do what you want to do...

60 bucks for tint, i'd love to know were you go, and if the tint job was only 60 bucks i'd like to know the type of tint that you can get for that, that will last longer than 6 months before fadding, i paid nearly 240 for mine, lifetime no fade no chip/tear warranty, and its not normal tint but the tint they use on sky scrapper buildings made to last.

Holy crap Knoxbox-- you gotta admit that's a lot.
Wait you tinted everything didn't you? you re-tinted the back windows of your xB even though they were already tinted you went darker. I just tinted the front side windows and I think it cost me about $75-85.
You're right, you don't have to do anything at all to your Scion and it's still a unique vehicle. The great thing about planning and thinking about future mods is at that point EVERYTHING is possible. When you pay your money , then you're locked in.
Me, I plan on making fun of Jmack everytime I see him until he does something, anything to his car. That's just the way I roll!

you used my words...

thats how i roll haha..
scion is about customization.. but the vehicle itself is custome by comparison to other vehicles... anyhow... i'd like to see at least a apple sticker on the vehicle. hehe.

Yeah here in NC, I drive a tc and got my back and side done. With lifetime warranty. It's good tint. Same guy does all the tints for the toyota dealership. I've had my tinted for over two years, still looks great. who ever did your windows ripped you off.

I want the Sirius radio upgrade so i can get rid of the starmate I have in my cup holder.
I want a lip spoiler.
I want to install the LED lights inside the car.

I keep paying someone else to do mods to my car, I can't bring myself to take the car apart- like I want to install another dome light in my box. I've read the instructions over and over and think I've got a handle on it, but I just can't bring myself to start taking out and cutting my headliner etc.
I'm a wimp
