Yeah here in NC, I drive a tc and got my back and side done. With lifetime warranty. It's good tint. Same guy does all the tints for the toyota dealership. I've had my tinted for over two years, still looks great. who ever did your windows ripped you off.
ripped off... riight... go to the tint thread, and look at what average people spent on a tint job... all windows... then tell me who got ripped off.

240 is every window in the entire vehicle including a 50% full front windshield and 5% 8inch drop tint on front windshield... and dayum near no gap maybe 2mm or less. 240 is pretty good and quality of work also stands for alot... ever hear of you get what you pay for. well this is a prime example, my girlfriend sister got her tint across town paid 140 at sound factory, and they ____ed her car up bad leaving gaps they didn't clean the windows before applying tint so the windows had bad streaks and they didn't wipe of the excess water off the interior where it dripped all over the place she took it back to get it fixed they refused service and she had to fight to get them to remove it and get her money back, went across town to another place percision tint, told them the situationt hey dropped the their prices cleaned up the residue the other place left after pulling the old tint and did a wonderful job for 180. thats on a 05 altima.

my mazdaspeed cost me 220 for all windows and front window and drop tint that was over 5 years ago. but once agian no gabs no streaks no bubbles and it was perfect when i traded it in for my xb, sept for a few ash nicks from were i used to smoke.

I have had every car I have ever owned tinted at the Sound Factory. I think that in this day and age, you have to inspect what you expect, so when I go in there, I say to them "This is what I expect from you." and that is what I get.

I haven't gotten to the whole "tint everything" bit yet. I did actually get the 5% windshield drop for less than $20 this last time around. First time was in SC and I paid $12 for 35%. New windshield = New tint stripe.

But I don't think it's lazy. I call it planning :p I'll have my xB one year on 15 April and it took me till December and January to get anything done to her. Right now, I've got over $500 worth of parts sitting in my backseat waiting for paint and install. The other $1000? Well, she's sitting on that.

i'm sure if i looked hard enough i could find someone to pay $400 for window tint. i'm sure it would look good, but not any noticable difference in your $240 tint. we can all just throw up big numbers saying how much we spent on this and that, but it all comes down to personal preference. i, for instance would not pay anywhere near $240 dollars for window tint. i could find a much more constructive use of that money for my tC. since i'm not trying to hide from anyone and i own a pair of sunglasses i'm pretty much set without tint.... but that's just me. it's true you get what you pay for, but where's the limit? would you have paid $500 for the same window tint and argued it was better than the $240? probably...

im not saying my tint was better because it cost more, yes you could get it cheaper i am however stating you get what you pay for... good quality tint can't be found for 60 bucks.. sorry just not gonna happen. finding someone that can apply the tint to dayum near perfections is also a tough thing to find, but if you can deal with cheap tint that will fade in a few years and deal with gaps here or there or streaked windows do what you got to do yanno.

well, there is a guy named ray (@ sounds factory) he is a friend of the my girlfriends sister... if he would do such a ____ty job on her car and he's her friend, i wouldn't expect him to do a better job on someones car that he didn't know. i saw the tint job right after it was done... horrible (as explained above). and then the customer service at sound factory is far from satisfactory... my girlfriends mom happens to work for the bbb (better business bureau (sp)) anyways... they are on the verge of losing their business liscense,

so, let me get this straight, i go into a place paying for a tint job, and I the customer should have to tell them that i want the windows cleaned before the tint is put on, that i expect them to wipe of the interior if they spill water all over it and that i don't want any gaps in my window... im sorry but thats just stupid, it should be understood you own a business and best advertising is by word of mouth you automatically should do the best job you can, not just half ___ it and assume the customer will be fine with it. you shouldn't have to say anything, other than hi, i need my windows tinted at this ?% and i want a ?" drop tint contoured or curved, and the rest should be pretty much a and b on expectations.

its not like your having your buddy down the street thats never tinted windows before and saying this is what i expect from you... that understandable but to someone that does this for a living... you shouldn't have to tell them what you expect to get what you want.

oh p.s. forgot to mention for you non smokers, sound factory smokes inside customer cars, we also found ash all over the dash and parts of the rest of the car... u shouldn't even smoke near a open window of a customers car.

jmack, glad that hasn't happened to you thats just the known experience... they have several formal complaints.

but like i said i highly recommend percision tint and solar pros, and pheonix conversions...

all of my personal vehicles have been done at solar pros, never had a problem or anything, two of my dad's vehicles have been done there as well perfect jobs, and my mom's car was done at percisions and the second job done on my girlfirends sisters car was done at percision tint... great job on it as well... i had drop tint put on a older vehicle of mine at pheonix and they as well did a great job.
