Default DEER SEASON!!!

I picked up my sister last night and on the way home a deer ran into me, well not really. Luckily I was driving slow otherwise my car would've been really messed up. Last year on 98th/Old Shakopee I almost hit a really really big one. I guess since it's near the park reserve they come out to find food at night, still it was pretty sccarrryyy!
I grew up in Minneapolis my whole life so i've never had to encounter this situation, but now I know better! I know there's lots of you guys that live here in Bloomington so BE CAREFUL and drive slow at night!!! ( ahem...TRAV)

That's some expensive venison steaks...

I had one dart in front of me the other night while it's partner stayed on the side. I was afraid the second one was going to jump too. I braked so hard it threw everything off the seats.

But you'll bruise the good meat that way!

Sus, sorry to hear about your car. The good thing is you're ok. As far as driving slow, pushah. Speed up to hit them harder. If they die when you hit them with a car, I believe you can keep the meat. Nothing wrong with free venison in the off season.
